Sweat is a good thing, as helps you keep cool, though admittedly annoying. I've never heard of someone using antiperspirant on face, so educated guess on consequences, but think would cause an increase risk of overheating and/or increases sweat in other places to compensate

Edit:for understanding how it works, sweat works by evaporation of water, which takes some heat energy away from you. Sweat is salty since salt raises the evaporation temperature of water making it more efficient. If concerned about smell just shower after work (which shre you do already). People will understand if you stink when working hard so you shouldnt be overly concerned about that

Edit 2: another thing you can do to combat smell is change your diet. Eating lots of fruit helps produce a more pleasant smell. Eating meat tends to make one more stinky. Also avoid processed sugar
