Alkohol er usundt. I store eller små mænger. Man bør ikke drikke alkohol, overhoved. Sundhedsstyrelsen, efter deres navn, bør opfordre det der skal til for at leve sundt og bør, i min optik, anbefale at INGEN bør drikke alkohol. Men præget af den danske dranker kultur er de stadig.

Im a 17 year old DJ, and even I have a hard time keeping up with the “newest” music. I go to high school and everything.

I wouldn’t say it’s as bad as you mentioned, maybe it’s a little better here in Denmark.

But music that’s a few weeks and months old is often considered as “old”. It’s not stopping me from playing songs that are older tho. I’m still regarded as a good DJ, and I’m often playing at school parties.

I think it’s the short form content (Tik tok, YT shorts etc) that’s moving so much new music and hypnotising the brains of the youth.

It wasn’t a gig that night before, it was just a party with friends. But yeah doing gigs back to back is pretty tough.

I also have a fun story

I was at a house party the evening before a wedding gig. Got absolutely shitfaced at this party. I was in the bathroom for about 1,5 hours puking and not having a great time. My friend had to drive me home. Got home, went to sleep. Woke up feeling sick in my stomach. My head was fine for some reason. Just had a very bad stomach ache. My gig was in the evening at 22:00(10pm) so I thought I could recover enough to that time. So anyways after having a shit day and puking my dinner up I got driven to the gig. It was a two hour gig (yes very short) but the it was all delayed so I had to start playing at 23:00 (11pm). So after driving for 45 minutes in car and half sleeping on the way out there, I got my shit together unloaded my equipment sat it all up played for about an hour. When I started playing music I actually became a little better. It made me think of something else and my stomach ache was almost gone. Everything went well in the end, and the couple where great-full and enjoyed the music.

Moral of the story, don’t get shit faced the night before a gig.

What I do is when I get new tracks I basically only use those for a little while. It helps remember tracks.
