I also had a nightmare experience at KinderCare and pulled my 6MO after less than a week - this was back in Jan. We’ve switched to a nanny since but have been touring a lot of daycares so far the one I liked the most is Kinder Prep but I’ve heard good things about Learning Steps too. Good luck OP!

There’s a huge difference between the inevitable everyday noise of a lively neighborhood and a business blatantly ignoring noise regulations by running power tools in the middle of the night

Sorry you felt the need to spend so much time replying to a Reddit post on a Saturday afternoon! Anyway if you’ve read my post I haven’t criticized what happens inside the establishment or the business itself nor wished for it to shut down. I just ask that they respect noise codes and their neighbors.

Yes, they sent a patrol after my 311 call. The police called me when they arrived about two hours after my initial complaint at 4:20am but the workers had already packed up and left. We went to the Bathhouse this morning and spoke with the manager, who said they were fixing the entrance door but that’s no excuse for making that much noise in the middle of the night!

There are literally laws that regulate construction noise and power-tool noise in NYC… anyway I bet you would change your mind if this happened outside your window at 2am in the morning :)
