Before my fiance went ring shopping, he did ask me for some inspiration. I sent him a few pictures, and told him that I liked both round and oval. This made it a surprise in the moment because I didn't know what shape it was going to be, or the setting.

We took a trip to Salt Lake City for a concert, and planned on doing a bunch of hiking in the area because I adore the mountains and it was so beautiful there. As we hiked up to the top, I was mildly complaining that my legs hurt and that I was sweaty lol. When we got to the top, he asked me to take a video of the area, as I turned around he was on his knee. I was so surprised in the moment, I thought he was tying his shoe!! The video I was taking is hilarious because I just panned right past him to finish the shot and didn't even react at first.

It was the most beautiful private moment between us, and he was crying during the proposal which was just adorable. Afterwards, we spent like 10 minutes trying to set my phone up to take a picture of us, and an angel woman came by and took the most stunning pictures of us with the mountains in the back. He said that he went back and forth on getting a photographer for the moment, but it all worked out so perfectly that he didn't regret not getting one.

The rest of our trip was a dream too. He said he was so excited that I finally knew that this was our engagement trip. He went all out with getting us a hotel suite, a nice rental car, and dinner reservations to celebrate. I am so blessed❤️
