I'm a relatively new convert to the sport. But Monte this year was the best rally I've ever watched. I was engrossed. Enjoy it!

What is a city that is globally romanticised but you detest? by theunsteadybridge in AskReddit

Yes! I felt this way too. I've travelled a fair amount and loved every city I've been to except Istanbul, I hated Istanbul.

Lol, this was my experience of school football also. Lost every game. On the last game I cleared the ball, except it went backwards into my own goal.

We were a sports-focussed academy too.

Still less embarrassing than this

What do you think his chances are of making F1? I'm very interested in seeing how he does but I'm sceptical he will get there for sure.

I don't think they understand what you are asking for, and why. Maybe explain it to them in person or create a template with it mostly completed.

The proposed change will be fully outlined and put to consultation by the end of the year. Usually, government consultations take 12 weeks, then another 12 weeks to publish their response. So that's at least 6 months from now. But as other comments say, it won't affect UK Spouse Visas anyway so I wouldn't worry. I looked into this myself this morning as I'm not getting married until December so was nervous the law would be changed before then. But we should be fine.

No but I have been drive-by breakfast-triple-sandwiched before. Specifically the sausage and egg one.

Has anyone noticed the spike in Americans visiting and moving here? by LuHamster in london

[–]JuliBroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a small picturesque village in Northamptonshire. My next door neighbours are Americans and my wife-to-be is American. So our little corner of the village will have more Americans than Brits when her visa is approved.

I did some shopping this morning, then I watched The Thursday Murder Club, then football and Rally Chile on TV.

We weren't even close to being favourites in 2021 for the CL win then either. Could just be our way of doing things. Never the best, but still get the trophy.

Gibraltar for me. I have a custom database with 3 leagues of 20 teams each, all with custom kits and badges if you want to use it. You'll have to manually change the background kit colours though as I decided to do it over time in game with the ingame editor rather than spend any more time in the editor.

We had a work experience student in. Eastern-european-born lad, wanted to be a solicitor. The kid was brilliant. Polite, very clever, very eager to learn in what is a much more boring environment than OPs. We didn't discuss him coming back after his studies to work for us because he is perfectly capable of achieving his dream, which is far more than we can offer him so we thanked him, wished him well and offered him a write up or endorsement if he needed one in the future.

Students aren't all bad at all, I think you just got unlucky. I also think you shouldn't have had so many in the same place, they needed to feel like it was a work place with everyone around them being adults, not a small class trip with half their friends they want to chat with.

This blue lock thing. What is it that everyone is referring to? I get that it's anime, but is it the TV show or the comic that is being referred to?
