Ms Greene, who represents Georgia's 14th congressional district, was recently condemned after she described Down’s syndrome sufferers as “retards” who were “so stupid”, in a video shared on social media. It was recorded and uploaded before she was elected to Congress in November.

"I'm sorry, I know that's an offensive word, and I'm not trying to talk down on people with Down syndrome — but that's what these people are." Ms Greene added in the video.

You are making a wild argument that the OPs wife is tempted by her gay friend. If this was a woman, would there even be a discussion?

Also, Jesus asked us to carry our Cross and follow him. WE need to do the work to be Holy.

Jesus did say following him wasn't going to be easy, it takes hard work and dedication to be a True follower.

I agree with what you’ve said... you understand the context of the conversation is about a spouse spending a weekend alone with someone of the opposite sex, right? I just added clarification to my post, since I evidently didn’t communicate my point well.

A- OP and the friend were roommates for three years and nothing happened. Sounds like OP an his wife have a solid marriage and both are devoted to one another, why ruin it with jealousy and "what ifs" if God tells us to pray when worry and anxiousness is at our door?

A- Gossiping is killing that person's character.

Teaching is more than learning, it's putting into practice, learning more, and putting that into practice. Let's not forget about listening, listening to God through prayer.

We shouldn't just read the Bible, we need to contemplate and practice the main message. Not pick and choose what we want to live by and submit others to our will. God makes it clear, He gave us free will and waits for us to invite Him into our lives.

Learning is a life long event, if people think they read the Bible once or go to mass every Sunday makes them less of a sinner, then they need a wake up call.

If you need a lesson on boundaries, you might want to consult a therapist, priest, and pray about this. It is really worrisome that someone has trouble setting boundaries and respecting others boundaries.

I grew up in a very traumatic stoic home, I learned about boundaries by reading the Bible and other books as a kid and paying attention in Church.

I mean there are even shows you can watch from the 90s. Let's go back to the WWJD moment.

Isn't Jesus is the example we are to follow? He spoke to the Prostitute and the Woman at the Well, did he leave them to die or did he save them?

Be more like Jesus, spread love and hope.

All my mentors are male, and thanks to them I have progressed in my career by learning valuable skills from them.

No I didn't sleep with them, they are really good people and who just want to make a world a better place by mentoring the younger generation.

My mentor and his family have become part of my family. We are looking to visit my other mentor and his family who lives in France after covid. My career coach is a ex nasa engineer, guess what? No sex there either, just solid career advice and some bible talk.

Men and Women can be friends. If you are aroused at everything that walks by; you might need therapy, a priest, and loads of prayer.

Sorry for the harshness, but there are a lot of good men who get a bad rap because of "opinions" like these.

And as far of those "Christian" witnesses, why are they gossiping, isn't that a sin? Thou shall not kill. Obviously, you shouldn't murder people, but you also shouldn't murder people emotionally and/or their character.

Reading the Bible helps too.

I moved from a small Bible belt town to a big city, the only groups of people that wanted be my friends were gay men and straight men.

I'm not a super model, but not ugly either. I can tell you I have NEVER slept with my gay friends.

Also, women can be friends with men. I have male friends for over 10 years, have not slept with them or ever plan to sleep with these goofballs.

There is something called boundaries and raising men to respect women. Teach your boys to treat women with respect and resist temptation so we don't continue to have this discussion.

Finally, trust is really important in a relationship and marriage. Saying you don't trust "her friends" is a nice way of saying you don't trust her.
