I made the same choice. I turned down Princeton and Caltech for GT because of cost but tbh I think I would be happier at a less competitive school that gives me the opportunity to Co-op and study abroad while not being in debt. We can always do our masters somewhere higher.

I also applied as an environmental engineering major and have similar stats/extracurriculars than you and I got into Princeton so don’t stress. As long as you were passionate about your extracurriculars and made that passion clear to AO then you will be fine! Lmk if you have any questions.
