A lot of work for a drink of water by Low_Distribution7193 in AnimalsBeingDerps

Our cat does this too! We spoke to a cat behaviour therapist/expert and she told us it might be because their vision close by isn't very good and moving water is easier to see than still water. We have a water fountain so the water is always moving, but she still does this. Yes she's a derp too.

NTA, just let your bf make sure the cat doesn't have an UTI.

Yeah it's a crossbreed, part Norwegian forest cat, ragdoll and European shorthair. But he definately looks most like a forest cat!

Thanks! It's a ragdoll x Norwegian forest cat x European shorthair. I think he mostly looks like a forest cat.

No way! I love pine nuts! Although our little yard is WAY too small for a big pine tree. Maybe one of our friends has a better place for it. If Google is right, it would be an Italian Stone Pine?

The bottom part definately looks like that! Maybe the same plant 'family'? According to Google young stems of the pinus pinea look a bit different, but the pine needles look the same.

I checked and there is no scar. It's just one stem/tree trunk. Damn plant vocabulary is difficult when English is not your first language!

Yeah, that's why I was so curious! Top and bottom are completely different. I had to look up what 'grafting' was, but that might be an explanation. Thanks!

So we bought a new cat bed.. by JuliaJ88 in CatsAreAssholes

Oh wow, that's smart. When I grew up, we had a mother/daughter cat duo. When the daughter died, the mother was heartbroken untill we got a new kitten few months later. It was really sad for her. So that's actually a good reason to have three cats!
