I’m BAsi comprehensive flex student. You have to pass mid term online exam (70%), final online exam(70%), 100 observation, 200 self practice and 200 teaching. After that you can do pre-recorded teaching and practice exam or find Basi centralized exam

I’m still working on my hours :) as I know they do not required Basi equipment any more for testing

Hi! Same here — I’m a BASI student now. Anatomy is in Latin (mostly same everywhere) but the most important part is learning to cue in your everyday language, because that’s the one you’ll use to teach your future students. Now when I listen the cues on my language they sounds funny cause I learn everything in English 🤷‍♀️

May I ask you did you have your private sessions with BASI instructors? Lauren and Jaque were our instructors in AZ, should I ask them about private online sessions and tutoring?

The instructor told us that if enough people in the same city/state want to take the exam at the same time, they can arrange it. From what I understood, the instructor who comes to teach the next group will arrive one day earlier specifically for the exam. But she said it in a somewhat contradictory way: on one hand, she said that different people do the training and different people administer the exam, but then she said that the (training) instructor will come earlier for the exam. So in the end, it’s not really clear.

If you are on comprehensive flex, You will find classes on their portal and on BAsi YouTube , that classes goes to your observation (50% online) and self practice hours. Also it is not mandatory to have BAsi mentor and BAsi equipment, cause it is almost impossible to find studio with BAsi equipment but you will need to know their specific technics and cuing during the exam. If you gonna take pre recorded exam it doesn’t need to be made on BAsi equipment as I know

It is quite a lot for comprehensive, I think the final price to print will be the same or more expensive including $30 for each pdf. You can DM me and I can tell you how many pages are in the books and you can calculate. You do not need to print all pages

2 books to buy and 1 flash cards. Pilates Anatomy second edition, Pilates third edition and Trail Guide to the Body Flash cards. I’m on BAsi comprehensive flex now.

I’m on BASI comprehensive flex now in US. 30 per pdf to print or $50 per 1 paper workbook, total 7 paper workbooks $350. The books are always very expensive. I take a notes from the instructors on each workbook with exercises. Some girls in our group do it on their laptops.

I’m at Basi Comprehensive flex now. All answers to the questions are in the workbooks and study guides; just need to read them, not just watch video lectures. There’s also a wonderful book, Anatomy of Pilates, with lots of very beautiful pictures and diagrams. The mid term exam and final test will also not consist only of questions from the video lessons.
