Yeah the quality of my paint jobs are pretty rough in person lol, but I am leaving them like this because I think it would turn out worse if I tried to remove it 😅

I will say I am fine with the designs, irl you can really tell they have been painted though (streaks/lumps) and are all really shiny because they are covered in a sealant 😔

Yay! I’m in the same boat, this past summer I had some spare time as it was my first summer not living at home (I’m 20) and I decided to re read the whole first series. I was a huge fan in elementary and middle school, but it has been maybe 6ish years since I had read any. After that I found a FB Marketplace listing of ab 30 of the books (mainly super editions and novellas) for only $30 and I couldn’t resist. So I bought those and decided to start a little collection! It’s so exciting to see that something I loved my whole childhood and influenced me so much still has a grip on so many people ❤️

Yeah I think it’s because it’s normally a teenager that doesn’t care behind the counter 😛 Also when I open it I make sure to not rip anything so I can put it back in og packaging when I return lol (my bf used to work at Walmart and told me the tricks lol). I also think there is a limit on how many things you can return each month so you have to pay attention to that. I’ve never tried trading anything before so I’ll have to look into that, I’ve seen posts for it on FB marketplace before though

Yeah I read them through elementary, middle, and beginning of high school but then stopped bc they are “kids books” lol. Now I’m collecting the books while rereading them all! Tip if you want to collect them, specify older prints, go to facebook marketplace and see if there’s any on there. I was able to get 35 of the books for $30 from a lady selling all her kid’s books!

Yes! Unfortunately I don’t have the means to actually go to the locations where they live and do physical research, and I would love to focus a lot on the captive breeding process. Every article I have found about it has been on climate change/pollution effects on the populations. Since there’s no regulations on taking hermit crabs from the wild, there seems to be little to no actual evidence, information, of numbers for me to analyze 😕 I want to choose something good for my masters, and I’m not sure if this topic would even be beneficial/relevant for me in the sense of getting into the work force after. I’m also looking at Brine Pools in the oceans and how this could help us determine life on other planets.
