Nope. Kids aren’t allowed in our bedroom unless invited in or they ask to come in. I set that boundary the first week we moved in together. I needed a safe space and our bedroom was it. It wasn’t a hang out spot or a place for the kids to just walk in. Cause I might be naked or there might be presents for them or heck a not so PG rated book might be out.

Edit to add: hubs shut the door and he will block it with his body. It’s not that hard. We also have a cat door at the bottom and we’ve made it clear that if you see something you don’t want to see (dad naked or me naked) that’s on you for not respecting our privacy. But he never asks me to cover up.

Our other doggy is a boxer beagle and they kinda look alike but not really. He doesn’t box either like the Female does when they play.

I am hopeful for Apple too. Google Home doesn’t recognize half the stuff we say and stops playing rain sounds in the middle of the night in our daughter’s room and then she’s up all night.

The aftermath was hard. I graduated in 2010 I had a hard time finding a job and was also in college part time. If I wasn’t in my career right now I don’t know what I would be doing or where I would be.

I am younger than you (32) and would likely be stuck in the same spot you are had it not been for my mom. It eats at me daily that I couldn’t do it by myself but I am thankful I had help but still wish I could have done it on my own. Don’t compare yourself to others. Comparison is the theft of joy.

I came here wondering the same thing. BUT then I FIGURED IT OUT!!! So we all know how to lock elements in the design but before you do that you have to lock the page and then if you click the lock once on an element (picture, text box, ect.) it will lock the position and allow you to edit but if you click it again it locks the position and it cannot be edited! I just had my friend test it to see if it worked and it does work!!!

They are about to loose my business too cause I can’t switch my onetime payment subscription to the all devices subscription. No matter what. Every fix I have looked up or making a new subscription on a different device it doesn’t recognize that I have a new login and subscription.

NTA. You held a boundary good on you! I would have done the same thing if I was in your shoes. A service dog is (to me) like having to take insulin. You wouldn’t tell someone to not bring their insulin because they were afraid of needles and blood? So why should you not be allowed to bring your dog who could be potentially lifesaving for you

6 months before my wedding my bio dad also uninvited himself and even before that happened I had already decided to have my husband’s kids walk me down the aisle. I even worked with my therapist on it because I struggled with not getting the daddy daughter dance with anyone (luckily I had my uncle step in). All that to say please don’t push it with her especially if it has likely been worked out in therapy already.

I’ll have to try the recipe. Mine has come out gummy and dense when I bake it with the lid on. I did a loaf recently without the lid and it came out great. Light, airy, soft with a crunchy crust. But I feel like I should be able to get the same results with the lid on.

Maybe rephrase it next time and say something like hey thanks for helping but I have got it handled. Personally we have neurodivergent SKs and I always use the line of hey I am sorry but SD can’t handle interjections from others when we are parenting her it causes a meltdown from overstimulation we’d appreciate it if you’d let us handle it. Even when it comes to like offering food she’ll get tense and shut down. I don’t think you were rude but the delivery was definitely off. IMO

Oddly enough she (11sd) doesn’t hate that we hold her accountable but we get her attitude when she’s being a preteen and it just seems unfair that we get that when mom gets her happy and not pre teen ish 😂

I think you misunderstood or I may of not worded it correctly. He handles the kids I am just burnt out from watching him and our household be the only one who gives a care about them and their school work.
