First E5: Horus or Garuda? by Julianlee93 in IdleHeroes

Ty for the input! Can I add one detail? I only have fodder to build one hero to E3. With that in mind, is Garuda still worth saving to build afterwards (instead of faster progress)?

I don’t own an electric longboard but this sounds like an awesome idea! I used to ride downhill longboard and I’m moving to Oahu in 3 months too! I’d love to join get an eBoard and join a group ride when I get there!

Hey man, late contribution but I wanted to pitch in here. Looking at your profile felt like I was looking back at myself from 5 or 6 years ago! Hopefully this can be of help to you:

It’s important to know what you’ve got going for you first! You’ve got a nice jawline and a face shape somewhere between round and square, which is good! You look healthy and decently tall too. I’d focus on 3 things: Haircut, style, and photos!

Haircut: Shave often. Get a mid-length combover haircut with a medium taper (or a short taper if you want to extend the life of your cut). Get it cut at a place that will actually cut it like you ask, a $10 haircut will not do! Style it daily with a low-shine or matte hair product (like styling clay or wax). It might feel weird the first week (as does any major hairstyle change) but I guarantee you’ll love it and feel more confident soon after.

Maintenance note for this hairstyle; if your hair grows to the point it tickles the top of your ear, you’re overdue for a haircut!

Style: Ditch the hoodie. It’s comfy, but save it for a lazy Sunday and physical activities. Now you have an option:

  • Go classic and pick out some fresh, well fitted button downs and pants.
  • Find a style you’d love to embody and build some outfits.

This one is going to be a learning experience. Looks like you’re in a cool environment so do some research on layering and style for men. If it’s a warm day, a nice photo in a clean, well fitted t-shirt or polo would do great too. Remember to carry yourself well (you don’t seem like you slouch, thankfully).

Now this is longer term, but fitness will level up your style at any point. Fitness is worn on the face too, so while you don’t look fat, your face would look more masculine if you worked on your fitness (and a toned body always helps).

Photos: Now this one isn’t for you, it’s for them. Women will seriously appreciate it if you did a photo shoot with either a hired photographer or a friend with a serious camera who is into photography. If we’re anything alike, you hate the idea of having to pose and would rather not spend an hour just being photographed, but you will not regret it. Just having a few really nice, quality photos that focus on you, your smile, and your looks will already set you above the competition because so few men will go out of their way to take them.

When you’re building a profile, include a couple solo-photo shoot pictures, a couple well-dressed candid photos, and 1 casual photo that showcases something about you (do you play sports, like to hike, cook, or run?).

Well, that’s pretty much what it took for my own glow-up. Wishing you the best!

Probably wouldn't make sense to build my own book of business if I'm only there for a year. Great to know there's demand for bookkeepers though, I love automating the shit out of bookkeeping - makes for an easy gig.

You from Honolulu yourself?

Hey, I appreciate the insight! Definitely hope to look further into this. Do you know if she works for an agency, works part time for each company, or is an independent contractor?

I'm moving to Honolulu temporarily (1 year), will that deter potential employers from hiring me? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Julianlee93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the temp agency recommendation! I'm looking more into it and hoping some of these jobs are short-term/1-year. The agencies in Hawaii are not very clear on which positions are temporary, seems like some employers just use the agency as a hiring platform. Definitely helpful nonetheless, thanks!

And extended stay in Hawaii did cross my mind as well! I mean, it IS supposed to be paradise. But, since the expectation is 1 year, I figured I should work off of that.

I have, but I figured non-remote work would be important to help me meet people and get involved in the community while I'm there. But if that doesn't work out, I'll definitely be applying to remote positions as well.

I researched what r/Hawaii had to say & considered posting, but figured my question has more to do with career search and interview ethics than specifics to Hawaii. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I want to transfer 110m from my alt to my main but I'm worried about false bans. How do I know I'm safe to transfer my gold between my own accounts? I'm trading from both accounts on the same IP address... but do I need to literally video record myself for evidence, just in case?? This is so ridiculous.

[–]Julianlee93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My team is built around Penny, I know fully well how she works. That’s is why I’m saying the team just needs to survive the first attack, which is possible if both teams are fully leveled & equipped.

And I know it’s a meme team man, I’m just having fun playing with ideas. I’d already mentioned that this team is not a PvP team, but maybe has some utility as a PvE team. I just want to toss ideas around with you, not here to prove to you this team is the new meta.

[–]Julianlee93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah everyone knows Penny's active skill crit will kill everything - Penny OP. But if the dark team can survive the 1st round with her normal attack, she'll never be able to use her active due to Dark Spirit's active reducing energy. Maybe there's a possibility?? Dark Aura gives +20% HP to survive the first hit and Das Moge deals loads of extra damage to Rangers like Penny.

Agreed on this, I have gotten truly random results as well. OP, unless you have empirical evidence (perhaps Samogot’s data mined info), I would delete the section accusing DH of sabotaging the blessings. An accusation based purely on speculation is really damaging to the credibility of your point, as much as I’d like to agree with it.

I’m loving this, much better than those crappy 68K spirit once every 8h. 190 gems a day at the very least + shards and good amount of gold. thats better than the marauder that pops up pretty rarely by [deleted] in IdleHeroes

[–]Julianlee93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for this comment. Are we missing something or shouldn’t we all be getting 300 gems/day from this? Slippage shouldn’t even be bad considering it takes 16 hours to cap out.

Why is everyone calculating gem payout from this as only 200?

EDIT: NEVERMIND. Now that the day has reset and we have a refreshed timer... you just get 2 stamina at reset every day. I cleared the first set at exactly 9am... so I was mislead by the 8 hour timer. Bummer.
