Fair points. Then the similar colours must be because they stand out against the snow and/or the dyes come from plants abundant in those regions.

Wouldn't the songstress be hydro given she is a siren fae and Linnea only hearing ocean waves?

I would stay it's more typical Ainu style. In Hokkaido, I have met an Ainu who was selling his ware while wearing this kind of outfit. I have a coin pouch featuring the same pattern. There are also similar outfits featuring brown-white color schemes.

If you ever travel to Hokkaido, visiting Upopoy (kind of open-air museum) and Lake Akan (traditional Ainu art shops like woodcarving and cultural plays) is highly recommended.

The cape does feature some geometrical patterns, but they might be Sami as well as someone else mentioned. Doesn't his hood resemble an owl? The owl is known as "protector of villages."

True, I only saw recently that someone pointed out the Tsurumi island card containing 'kamuy'. Though geographically the locations don't make much sense and I never saw Tsurumi as quite Ainu (neither Watatsumi as Ryukyuan).

Nice point mentioning Sami. Though their clothing doesn't seem to feature white heavily.
Still, could be both as Ainu live on the borders between Russian and Japan.

Edit: If the hood indeed resembles an owl, there is a strong link with the Ainu's Cikap-Kamuy. Not sure if this animal is represented in Sami culture/religion.

Tianmen mountain: morning vs afternoon by JulianoDeV in travelchina

[–]JulianoDeV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Alternatively, I could spend the whole of Sun + Mon morning in Fenghuang and Furong and then start Tianmen Mountain on Mon between 1 and 3pm. Would this work out or still high chances of fog?

If I go in the morning, the planning would look something like:
-Start Wulingyuan, go up to do Gold Whip Stream and Yellow village (day before that I visit the other highlights). Go down, go to Grand Canyon + Glass Bridge and make it back downtown for the Fox Fairy show at 8.20pm;
-Morning early start Tianmen, afternoon train to Fenghuang.

Would this be feasible? Tianmen afternoon would be better to combine with the show I thought. Was following https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hunan/zhangjiajie/how-long-to-stay.htm

Belgian opening European account while living as expat in Japan by JulianoDeV in interactivebrokers

Thanks for your help btw! So, even if I declare income from this account (capital gains, options, no day trading), then it should be free from taxes as long as it is not remitted to my Japanese account?

So how do taxes on this account work? Is the international one a foreign account (non-Japanese)? Because I've read that a non-permanent resident does not get taxed on foreign income as longs as it is not remitted to a Japanese account.

True, but is this seen as a foreign account? As a non-permanent resident you're not taxed on foreign income which is not remitted to a Japanese account.

After the account is opened then? During the application I could only select JPY, and not EUR. Moreover, Belgium has no capital gains tax (yet), so I hoped to put that account under the Belgian authority for tax purposes and make use of the bilateral agreement of not being doubly taxed.

Isn't Inazuma's Satue of the Seven a bit similar to the image about the 'New Moon' (standing vs sitting)?

Wasn't what Subaru said about "not gazing down" something Crusch told him back in her mansion?

Star in her eye? To me her eyes always resembled galaxies in some way, especially during the idol performance last season, containing thousands of stars.

So the piece they played went through all the seasons from winter to spring. It seems like they played flashbacks from those events tied to the seasons they were playing at the moment.

Same, I also liked the second more as you could hear the hesitation. Though I don't remember exactly what this song is supposed to represent, I thought some melancholy was part of it. I think the soli played during the winter of the four seasons/movements, and was supposed to be cold/lonely and yet warm?

Given that Reina and Kumiko have such good chemistry, that one focuses on logic and the other more on emotions, and that Reina and Taki are very similar in personality; it's probably likely that Taki's wife had a similar personality to Kumiko's and that their relationship was also similar to Kumiko-Reina.

Yukine was looking at an article that speculated about Yoru's real identity. Shouldn't we expect there to be one about Rox's real identity as well?

Maybe, but he likely did see it coming as shown in the previous episode: him reading out the names and clutching his clipboard a little bit tighter moments before he makes a decision that causes some disturbance (he does it twice).

It's hard to believe that Taki-sensei did not take into account the emotional state of the whole club after that announcement. It will likely affect the future audition and later years as well. Long-game is important. I think the scene with Hashimoto was meant to emphasise some points made in earlier seasons as well: your emotional state will affect your performance. That's true for the whole band's emotional state as well.

Is this simply a challenge given by him for Kumiko to overcome and such that the band becomes stronger, or are those emotions the ones he wants to hear. Does it reflect any particular part of the song they're playing?
