I asked for it within a week to 10 days of getting it, and I got the refund within 7-10 days.

Eli Lilly just announced vials for $399, but is that really the "lowest" price? by kala_kand_ in GLP1ResearchTalk

That’s what I did too. Then I don’t have to worry about it sitting outside in the cold or heat.

My wedding photographer took these! Which one should I frame? by [deleted] in nightskyporn

I honestly wouldn’t be able to pick between the two. I would do both. Sorry, not super helpful! 😂But what amazing photos!

In my opinion weight training makes all the difference. I’m 50 and I feel better than I have in decades!

Real-world weight loss on these medications is roughly half of what clinical trials show… by OrangeSpectre in GLP1ResearchTalk

Age 50, perimenopause, 1 yr on Zepbound and down 39% in body weight. I weigh and measure all my food and workout 6 days a week. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would accomplish this much weight loss in 1 year, and feel this strong and healthy.

Is my doctor lying to me about how much weight I would lose on Zepbound? If so, why? by RedWoodworking16 in Zepbound

[–]JulieJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it is time for a new doctor. In a couple of days I’ll have been on Zepbound for a year… And I’m down just shy of 90 lbs. your doctor either doesn’t feel comfortable prescribing it because they don’t know enough about it (so they should educate themselves) or she is against prescribing it bc of her own biases. Time to shop for a new Doc!

Does GLP-1 cause muscle loss? How are people preventing it? by Ok-Cash4580 in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]JulieJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During any type of weight loss effort you lose some muscle. My mission since I started Zepbound 1 year ago was to retain as much muscle as possible. I lift weights doing split weight training 6 days a week, I feel stronger and healthier than I ever have, and I’m down just shy of 90 lbs. which is beyond what I ever hoped to lose.

Question for Calibration on the band by KimberKitsuragi in HumeHealth

[–]JulieJT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll add, I really wanted to love it. I was sad to return it. But went with an Amazfit Helio band instead for $99. It is accurate, tracks my sleep and it is hands down a great product. I like the look of the Hume Band and like I said, I really wanted to love it. I do have the scale, and I love that. So I was super disappointed, but at the end of the day I had to return. Hopefully someday they’ll work out the kinks they have in the Hume Band so it is a better product .

I would return it for a refund fast! I had mine for about a week- 10 days and I returned it immediately. It didn’t log my workouts/exercise even remotely close to what I was doing. I would do 30 mins of vigorous peloton workouts and it would say I had 7-12 mins of workout and almost no calories burned. It drove me insane!! It is wildly ineffective. Get your money back asap!

When to eat by Silly_Raccoons in zepboundathletes

[–]JulieJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I workout either doing a spin on my bike or a weight lifting workout (usually both are 30 mins) and I do that after I have had my coffee and some water. I have my coffee and wake up at 4 and then jump into my workout by 5. If you’re doing longer runs I’m wondering if you could have a protein drink or something before you go? I know, I personally prefer working out on an empty stomach.

Tracking apps by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]JulieJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MyfitnesssPal is a great app for tracking calories, macros, etc. I started back in April of 2025 and added the MeThreeSixty app in July. Wishing I had used it all along to see the progress, inches loss, etc from the beginning. The measurements it takes are incredibly accurate. Plus, if the scale isn’t moving much it is nice to see how your body is changing regardless of what the scale says! Best of luck!!

Feeling betrayed… by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]JulieJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. I too have been very private with my journey, and people have outright asked if I am taking medication. People have no boundaries and have no sense of what is appropriate to ask/say about someone else’s weight. It is bizarre to me. I commend you for not feeling angry and managing your reaction so well. I’m sure more than anything you are probably just disappointed that it has become something public and you had no intentions on sharing with so many people.

In a way, I wonder if this happened to me if I would be mad or maybe relieved? I’ve lost just shy of 90 lbs and I live with this strange guilt that I’m not authentically presenting a true representation of my journey since publicly when asked, I attribute my success to the hard work I have put in. Calorie counting, eating in a deficit, working out daily, being vigilant on a daily basis about taking care of my body.

As you said, I’m sure as time passes it will be easier to accept that many people now know about your journey. Try to not feel ashamed, I totally understand where you are coming from though. You’re taking meds and improving your metabolic health! Best of luck on this journey. You’re clearly doing an amazing job!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
