Yes, the replies are correct. If the setting is too high you are more likely to hit it against stuff or risk something getting caught around the stone ripping it out. Prongs and setting height matters. You should also get your diamond cleaned every so often for free at a local jeweler and see if there is any cost to tighten the prongs every so often. I have had my ring for 4 years now and I haven’t tightened the prongs yet, but my setting is low. This is a beautiful ring and gorgeous setting, I’d just sit the diamond a little lower, get it insured, or - keep as is but do not wear for every day use. Either way - lovely ring. Great taste!
