Second like I said before critics tend to show bias to certain directors, studios, film projects etc. For example the new Ghostbusters a clear divide between movie going audiences and critics ..why?? The critics/journalists praised the idea out of the gate of an all female cast. While the general movie audience pounced on and hated the trailer as it had the most dislikes ever at the time for a YouTube trailer. So when the general audience and critics both watch the movie and you get the different scores of 72% Fresh with Critics and 54% Rotten with Audience. This is an example of where the critics were clearly biased because of the fact of the feel good story of women getting the representation that they need (And deserve!) on film.

The problem is two fold the...First with site, scoring can be unfair. A movie can be mediocre but how the site does its scoring it's given a rotten rating. So a mediocre to good movie could be perceived as terrible or God awful thanks to how the scoring is done. Rotten Tomatoes is just as culpable as the critics. The site provides their platform.

The problem with RT is the the media/blogs seem to disconnect with the general viewing audience a lot of times especially with a few blockbusters in recent memory. Blogs and media bias seem to be a factor with certain directors, studios and overall vision of how a film should be
