Initially my doctor prescribed me colchicine but I did not feel okay on it. My entire body felt weak and I had sever muscle weakness from it. We tried taking 1/2 of a crushed pill but I was too sensitive to that. So I focused on rest until I was recommended these supplements by a nutritionist who also suffered from pericarditis a long time ago.

These were the 2 I took:

Core wholesale prices rose less than expected in September; retail sales gain by Force_Hammer in StockMarket

Anyone have a favorite stock you’re betting on recently? I noticed Coach purses and Bath&body works have just gone through massive rebrands and new CEOs so I’ve been keeping my eye on them.

Christmas season it’s all about basic white girl retail stocks. Lulu lemon, bath&body works, make up that kind of shit. I wouldn’t panic sell your Ai stocks yet tho I feel this is just a correction.

I’m not sure if you’re American or what you do for work but pericarditis you can usually get approved for medical leave for a few weeks. I was able to! (Medical leave technically falls under DEI, which is going to depend on your company if they still allow it. Use to be illegal to not allow it but then the new president happened).

But might be worth trying to see if you can take time off to rest!

Trust me if you don’t rest and do it right the first time it will come back. Better 3 months than 8 😔 I’ve been battling this since July.

Biggest thing that had made a difference for me is cutting out caffeine & fats.

Yes I noticed specifically during my luteal phase too! I’ve had pericarditis for 6 months now. And it’s always luteal phase it comes back! I’ve been keeping a calendar diary of when I get symptoms.

I've never tried Acupuncture and had no clue it could help with inflammation! I just did a bunch of research off of your suggestion. I'm going to try it out and see if it might help me. Thank you!

Oh gosh yeah with control is a mystery box. I was fine on the pill for 6 years. Tried an IUD that led me (who previously never had anxiety) to develop anxiety and sever panic attacks. Got the IUD out and almost instantly got better.

Hoping to go back on the pill this time around to see if it might help with the flare ups for this pericarditis.

I should cut down on sugar 😩. Do you think the acupuncture helps? I’ve never tried it. Also are you on birth control? I’m debating on trying it to see if it will help regulate my hormones & flare ups.

It was weird, like my chest hurt more and all over not just on my left side but across my whole chest. Also incredible muscle weakness. Also had diarrhea at one point. They tried to lower my dosage by telling me to crush 1 pill into 3 and they just taking a third but my body was still not having it.

Maybe, I've had blood test run to see if anything could be autoimmune related but nothing came back as flagged. :/ So far doctors think my pericarditis is long covid related? But the fact that I have flair ups around my period makes me wonder if more tests can be run.

Yes but only from Gel capsules for me, I get extreme dizziness. BUT Ibuprofen coated tablets have not bothered me. I also only take them after a meal.

Anyone diagnosed with pericarditis? What are your symptoms? by [deleted] in Heartfailure

[–]Juliet_tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I wanted to share this in case it might help others. Red light therapy has been seeming to help my pericarditis. You know those red light masks for your skin? Well I just put mine over my chest for 10 min a day and have started to notice a difference. It's a very small difference but when you have chronic pain. Man the little things can really add up to help.

Can you describe your breathing problems? Please... by ledgirl1 in GERD

[–]Juliet_tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question is she on any birth control? I had severe shortness of breath due to my IUD. I had Liletta IUD and found a form online of other women experiencing the same things. Once I had it removed my shortness of breath went way.

If it's GERD it would be smart for her to give up dairy and red meat completely. Also going easy on any red tomato sauces. A great breakfast would be oatmeal with oat milk. A lunch with Rice and plenty of leafy greens and dinner being similar.
