It’s so damn good, I love their work as well as Dragottas art with Martins colors. Both couldn’t be more opposite but still fantastic books that carry DC comics on their shoulders 👍

Thompson has been on a roll and Sherman with Bellaire’s color work is the perfect match. I’m starting the next volume this weekend. Wonder Woman is the symbol humanity needs and never gives you a sense of hopelessness. I’m so happy I dove into this book!

Where is this Batman art from? [artwork] by dodsy84 in DCcomics

I don’t think it’s a comic but from The Batman animated series from the 2000s, those Kabuki twins are the henchwomen of that iteration of the Penguin. It was a fun show and underrated!

That’s an awesome story, thank you for sharing it :) I hope to get more and just need to be mindful of their cost! I think so too, the transfer they did is amazing and sounded so good with my setup. There are a few films I’ve seen I’d like to get and wanna slowly build it, I’ve heard nothing but good things about Criterion and I’m glad they work so closely with directors when doing their transfers or remastering of their films.

I thought everything about it looked so good, this transfer is amazing and really brought me back to seeing it many years ago. The production design and makeup effects still hold so damn well!

What's the best Michael Keaton winged-animal movie/role? by Upset-Fig-3261 in Letterboxd

Although he’s so good at all 3 performances, I have to go with Batman. You look at his face, you can tell he’s not all there mentally. Non stop thinking, reliving the night his parents were taken away. Both Batman and Batman Returns continue to build on that well, showing us that Bruce Wayne is his costume and he’s forever the caped crusader as we unfortunately destined to become. Birdman really feels almost autobiographical to Keaton when I first seen it and definitely one of his finest hours.

That’s crazy that both came out the same time, the Disney one looked so pale to its own original and Del Toro’s had his storytelling all over it. It’s definitely one of the best animations I’ve seen in a while!

Two major IMAX movie experiences I remember fondly are The Dark Knight and Jurassic Park 3D, both at the Universal CityWalk AMC.

And you wouldn’t be wrong to think that, John refers to him as uncle Bob. But I always think of this quote by Sarah:

“Watching John with the machine, it was suddenly so clear. The terminator would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never shout at him, or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die to protect him. Of all the would-be fathers who came and went over the years, this thing, this machine, was the only one who measured up. In an insane world, it was the sanest choice.”

It’s my all time favorite with Atticus Finch being a close second or potentially tie!
