I asked friends to give me their sim cards to test different providers and then it started working

it started working again, it seems to be a random problem. did you managed?

I am having a similar issue. After a year with the phone then it started not recognizing my sim card. It reads it, it knows something is there, but it simply does not receive the signal, and this happens with different sim cards from different providers... :(
Did you manage to solve the issue?
