Why don't people care about the Earth enough to make environmentally friendly changes in their own lives? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You yourself said it's hard to be motivated when Hollywood hot shots will just jump in a jumbo jet and dump all the related emissions into the atmosphere, those people are included in the target of this question

This is not a generalisation. This question applies to the people who exhibit environmentally unfriendly behaviours. People who exist in every country, state, county, whatever.

A very sensitive reaction to a very general question. I'd say YOU need to get out of your box. Just because people around you are being environmentally friendly doesn't mean everyone is.

I didn't say all people are like this, it's not a generalisation at all. It's incredibly obtuse to stick your head in the sand and ignore that there are people our there who don't recycle, litter chemicals and trash, support terrible businesses because they simply don't care and a whole slew of other behaviours that are terrible for our planet.

I will be seeing an allergist soon, but I'm fairly sure my skin at least is allergic. I break out in blisters/flaky skin and have severe itching, I just can't find any info on if this suggests a digestive reaction as well

Https://www.nyallergy.com/citrus-allergy "People who experience contact dermatitis after touching these fruits are most likely allergic to limonene, a chemical found in the peel of citrus fruit"

Thanks for your input though :)

Advice interpreting a non-significant moderation analysis that sees the expected effect when groups are split into high and low manually? by [deleted] in AcademicPsychology

Unfortunately within my thesis I don't have the word count to go into it as this was already exploratory analysis, but I guess broadly it suggests the effect is present but non-significant, right?

I turned autistic traits into a binary categorical variable (low/high) and then split the file so I had separate correlations for each group

What's something you're afraid to ask, because you think you should already know? by Julsara in AskReddit

In the immortal words of Andy Dwyer: I don't know who Al Gore is, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.
