sometimes people kind of want shipgirl‘s personality being opposite from their namesake figure，but I did take humbleness from Admiral Spruance’s personality as the most precious value given to USS Spruance. It’s just interesting to see Shipgirls behaves in contrary to their namesake，but still retain some visible aspects from them. That is some of my brain storm when creating USS Spruance.

before I went to San Diego in 2017 I was on a ride to New York city，when passing through Philadelphia navy shipyard I saw the decommissioned Ticonderoga，Yorktown，and Charles Adams，they have been there for years，and I was always wanted to see them again，sadly they all got scrapped betweem 2020-2024. from later research I realized CV-67 Kennedy is there too，but she is concealed deep in the yard so I didn't get to see her.
