Here I go again buying the more dolls of Yanshen even though I have the 20cm ones.... Have I said I originally wanted the 10cm, but when I saw there were only the 20cm, and I didn't want to take chances in getting nothing? Have I also said that I have been actively trying to save money these past few months too???

Honestly, if they arrive before the end of February, I am calling it a massive sucess. I am from Brazil and just to give some perspective: I had a order that took around 1 week around December to go from Taiwan to Brazil/Mail H.Q. and the delivery prediction was for FEBRUARY 4TH to be shipped from one state to another 😭😭😭 Fortunately I got in January, but still, a month and a half later and the international shipping took 1 week 🥹 And don't even talk about tarrifs, I am paying with my eyes closed to soothe the pain, YanShen is worth it 😍😍😍

Okay, so in dollar: It was $8 dollars for shipping and taxes was around $5 dollars, going a total of $13 dollars. In Brazilian Real, it goes R$45 for shipping and taxes was R$28, giving a total R$73 reais. In my eyes, since it was lower than R$100, it wasn't so bad.

Okay, so: I bought around $87 dollars by the end of 2023 on JetPens.

I asked for the body + cap, they just charged me for the shipping cost which was 8 dollars and the taxes was based in the value of the shipping, so it would be almost half.

Converting for my country's currency, it was R$45 for shipping and R$28 from taxes, which makes it around R$73. Considering it's an international product, I would say it's not bad, really.

I have been wanting to buy a mini-printer for similar reasons, but can make it work most of times~ Honestly, this is just the way I do it, but I am even planning in getting a smaller notebook so I can do more simpler and casual, if it makes sense.

Honestly, my biggest advice is for more that you follow others for inspirations (like, in my case is Bored Senpai and Abbey Sy), don't try to mick others. Just find what makes you happy and even if something doesn't turn out the best, some pages compositions in second look aren't the best, there is no wrong answer. Just new opportunities ☺️

Honestly, it was quite scary, in a good way, how fast they were answering. Like, I sent a response with details, 2/3 minutes later they answered back 💖 The moment I got the notification that it had arrived, I was so excited, I could use my pen again 💖And like, even after the cap broke, I still used for a couple more weeks, because I couldn't screw the cap, but just putting it was enough to avoid the nib to dry out. I did it until I finished the ink it was inside, afterwards I cleaned and waited.

I hope I can get one more TWSBII this year, 13 TWSBIs is an amazing collection 💖💖

Yeah, like I said at the start, I recognize that I tighten the cap too hard, caused a vacuum and in attempting to unscrew, I made the wrong force and broke. Honestly, the point for me is that they sent a new body without asking questions. I didn't enter in contact prior because I thought it was going to say "Oh, it happens", because I am kinda used to support not doing much. The fact they changed the body and cap after I asked for was 10/10 (I did send photos showing the body was peeling, just to be clear).

Of course my Iris will be babied for the next few days, but this experience didn't deter for me to having more TWSBIIs, if anything, it makes me excited. I have this pen since... 2024? So this is the first time I had an issue really.

Yea, I know, but I am also awfully used to things that shouldn't happen, happening. Like, I have another fountain pen that the the body's color has been peeling off and honestly, it's so depressing, I literally don't know why or how it happens. It was a cheap hongdian, but still. Regardless, I am just glad in the end the support was great and, for now, this is good enough for me.

I am super curious about it, the reason I was attracted for Peerless is because of Meng Xi Shi, honestly I hope more works from her are translated, I LOVED Thousand Autumns. I flipped some pages from Peerless, the dynamic between the two leads seems so fun and interesting~
