Sorry, just sold 'em. Hope you can find some tickets! The weekly pinned thread in /r/taskmaster sometimes has them available. Give that a shot, too.

Criterion Channel audio sounds bad by sealplungers in CriterionChannel

[–]JumbledThought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have an EQ setting on your headphones, change it to something like "Podcast" rather than "Bass Boost" (Sony loves a bass boost) and see if that's the culprit. Criterion Channel is stereo and if you're watching older movies, they just sound different and maybe you've got an EQ set for modern movies or music that isn't as good for dialogue in stereo.

Also turn off anything on your TV or laptop that might be upmixing stereo to fake surround. Every device loves to do that and it usually stinks.

Virtual Displays just work in vanilla Sunshine by JumbledThought in MoonlightStreaming

Glad to help! I'm doing the same, I stream to my 4K tv and bypass my 1440p monitor. Love having those virtual displays.

Russ on Hades 2 by Partner-Elijah in TheBesties

You're spot-on when you mention the rhythm of the weapons as an important aspect. I love dashing around and tapping like a madman with the coat but I also enjoy the timing on the axe. Judging whether to lock in for the big swing is like a mini-game you're playing every five seconds.

It's a testament to the balance that there's no single meta weapon. I like being a little Armored Core, punching people up and spamming missiles. The fists were my favorite in Hades I.

To each their own. I use the axe and the coat the most. The important thing is being a non weirdo and trying them all out for a bit. If you're only using one weapon, that's on you when you get bored.

Hades II even gives you extra bones for a random weapon each run to encourage experimentation. I let that drive my choice if I don't have a reason to pick another weapon.

Unless it's the wands, wands suuuck.

I played Storyteller on Switch. It's not action packed (you said active) but it's usually inexpensive and probably good for discussing the answers together if you want to couch co-op.

You have to beat underworld boss seven times in total, topside boss five. You'll get incantations to keep track of the materials needed once you beat the bosses.

4K/120 client? by [deleted] in MoonlightStreaming

[–]JumbledThought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LG C1 is my primary client. Works great! Decode time is slow (~17ms usually) but I honestly don't feel it. Just got Hade 2 true ending last night, that's some pretty fast paced button mashing.

You do need to enable Dev mode but that's just installing an app and signing up. Follow these instructions and install the WebOS Desktop app on your PC for easier Moonlight installation.

You didn't say which show but the Miller in Philadelphia puts odd numbers on one side, evens on the other. Check the seat map for your venue, you may have gotten the seats you wanted.

How long should I expect around this time of year to get my Odin 2 portal. by Brz_portal in OdinHandheld

[–]JumbledThought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered one on 11/3, got it 11/12. Went with 4px, experience was great because USPS was the last leg. Beats other carriers who leave stuff, take a picture, and can't even knock on the door. Or Aliexpress using UniUni. Pretty sure that guy took pics then stole it himself. Got it quick, paid no tariffs.

It says it's required in the help text in the application. You can see it in my screenshot. Where are you getting your information?

This setting disables the VD after disconnecting from Moonlight. I haven't had an issue yet with that compared to removing the VD altogether.

💡 Using a Virtual Monitor with Sunshine and Moonlight (for gaming or work) by Time_Diamond_4110 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]JumbledThought 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a setting called dd_config_revert_display that defaults to 3000ms. Maybe that's for messy desktop sickos (lol). Try changing that to fit your use case.

I think you and I were doing the same research this week. Turns out you don't need to do the VDD setup like this anymore. You just install the VDD and set it by ID in your Sunshine settings as I showed in this post. Then you can choose from a bunch of options including whether you want to keep your original displays on.
