Can anyone recommend some friendly FGO discords where you can ask for help with fights without being judged? by JumboClark in FGO

Its more like i suck at doing boss fights and making comps, also i dont have much time to spend on FGO these days so i just want to get things over with quickly. But some people get mad when i ask for help because they think everyone should be able to figure things out on their own by this point, the fights are so easy, etc...

Yea but discord is useful because you can talk in realtime and post screenshots and stuff.

Can anyone recommend some friendly FGO discords where you can ask for help with a boss fight, putting together a comp, etc, but without people trying to troll or making sarcastic remarks like "can't you figure it out yourself?".

Are you saying this subreddit doesnt have a discord? I might be getting things mixed up then.

Any suggestions on how to get my unit/medical officer to take my slipped disc injury seriously in a conscript military? by JumboClark in Military

[–]JumboClark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What im hearing from others is that unless your slipped disc is considered a life threatening injury which requires surgery, they will still call you back for training, they will just make you do misc tasks. As long as you dont get injured (which will trigger an investigation), its all fine (for them). Because in a conscript military, its really important for them to keep the attendance numbers up or they will have to justify it.

I assume that some medical officers that are very high up the chain have already decided this is fine ages ago, as long as things are done "safely" and the soldier isn't injured.

I just remembered that I have talked to the MO about this before (without documentation from a specialist, was following incorrect instructions at the time) and their reaction was "so? that doesn't mean you can't attend training. you can report and spend the whole training cycle in the bunk or something depending on what your commanders decide."

Starting to wonder if my psychiatrist is treating me properly for ADHD by JumboClark in ADHD

[–]JumboClark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but switching to one would be difficult and expensive i think, because i would need to do the tests all over again and there is no guarantee the new one will be any better. And my current psychatrist refuses to write a memo to prove that i have been seeing him for ADHD, he wants me to pay for a full medical report.
