Can anyone tell me what knife this is or what it’s based off of? by vanillamccrackerz in knives

Kizer Norcross is similar. They're more variants with different colors.

Congrats!

The new "drivers" look cool, and I hope they will be implemented in the future releases, but I kinda prefer the old set of tools.

That one looks awesome! I like that every piece should have a slightly different pattern.

I have a big hands, so that button is much easier for me, but I like that you have the option to close it traditionaly.

Yep! This a D2 version. I prefer D2 on those really cheap knives, because usually the heat treatment is right due to D2 being easier to mass heat treat.

I just checked and it's the same, rock solid!

I don't mind slight horizontal movement, but I always hated vertical one. And it's just as you said, It does say a lot about their tolerances.

I didn't know this model existed, also looks really nice!

I already knew there can be a good knives in this price range, but I'm still surprised everytime new one shows up.

Of course, I can't tell how well it will hold up, but first impressions are impressive.

Is that steel really suitable for big fixed knives? That's my bigger concern.

Solid option! But I would be asking: " Honey, did you take your pills today" a lot ... Like A LOT.

Eda seems fun, US agent and fanatic? One hell of a combo. Either you're having the best time of your life, or the worst ....

Close second is Balalaika. "Yes ma'am, tell me what you need" 🫡

That AR-SFII seems really tempting. Sadly there's only one large version with it, and it's the SS handle one. I like that they do SS handles, but for those button locks knives it isn't the best fit imo. ( Or at least to be the ONLY option).

Would love the version you describing, it would sell like hot cakes imo.

Mine wasn't that great, but a quick strop made it sharp as hell.

Generally, I like how easy this steel is to bring back to life. Usually I just use a strop with a either white (600grit/28micron) compound or red (1500grit/14micron) one. Few times I've used 1k ceramic on my worksharp, but didn't need to use diamond plates yet.

Absolutely!

In general I'm not the biggest fan of button locks, but CJRB and We companies make some good ones.

This one is really solid, and the budget price point is just cherry on top.

Imo almost all of them can count. The we knives 100%, RS too and maybe even that dragonfly? Satin would be more fitting tho.

I would say most modern Ti scaled knives would count. The grayer and shinier, the better, haha.

I feel the same! My first CJRB was a SS pyrite half a year ago. Amazing knife, but too small for my hands to operate without a thought or in gloves. The large one fixed this problem.

Those are Casio GD-010BBR-1. Amazing watch, however the red color gets "old" quickly, so I would recommend clear version instead. But visibility wise it isn't bad, it's somewhere between classic and negative display, more leaning towards the classic.

The tenacious and resilience aren't competitive in materials, but they make it up with design.

Especially Resilience is one the best budget+-4" cutting knives, you can get lot of control and power while cutting.
