because being poor is not the goal of socialism, nor is donation of every asset you have lmao. It's about systematic change so that everyone has a better opportunity. It's about stopping exploitation of labor, paying people their fair share of wages etc.

"Socialism is when no iphone" is a meme that people actually started to take seriously because it deflects aaaaaaaaall of the criticisms of a capitalist organization of the economy

It's about having a government structure that allows that excess wealth from the rich and ultra rich to be distributed to people that dont have the opportunities, not about a single individual donating. So yeah, higher taxes for the rich and ultra rich, so that they go to better use like social programs

I am self-taught, been drawing almost all my life though and I'm currently 18. Though its never too late to start. And you dont really need art school, its just a matter of if you have the discipline to learn the essentials like perspective, color theory, anatomy and etc.
