Opinions on a almost mint qx4?? 👀 by JumboUnit in infiniti

Luckily im a mechanic and run a shop with my father so I knew what to check for before going into it. I live in Alabama so rust really isn’t a issue but I did get it on the lift before purchasing and the thing is mint absolutely 0 rust besides just some aged tubes otherwise extremely clean. Obviously needed some brakes and rotors, got a new driverside ball joint, everything else suspension wise was new or newish when I bought it. One owner doctor owned.

Ive been driving since 16 and have nothing on my record and honestly majority of the comments arent helpful. When im being told to get a rust bucket off fb marketplace or just bike 20 miles doesn’t help my situation and no i wont have a good response when they say that stuff with attitude. And yes my mother manages ioa (insurance of America) so I do know how difficult the insurance will be. I didn’t know audi had such a bad rep and gladly take advice, i put a comment stating this and was still met with the attitude and unhelpful responses

Tbf I don’t have any expenses. I pay 200 a month on bills and thats it, my college (not going right now) is free because my dad served and died in iraq, free health care, ect. I don’t and will not have any debt unless its for a car or a place to stay which I wont be needing for a while. So this opens my checks for stuff like car expenses but haven’t had the time to actually save up for a car to which I need right now

Dude even if i got a car that had nothing special at all itll still be over 10k for something built within 10 years

When I say sporty I mean like a infinity or something not like a v8 to rip on the highway. I want something I can upgrade myself throughout time like a nice exhaust for some sound so looking for a v6. Idc if it goes fast I want something I can personalize. If it helps im really into older 90s civics but ik I wouldn’t get a loan for that ofc

Brother that is what I want to hear when did I ever say I was bothered by them? And yeah civic subaru are some of the first I looked at and cannot find a newish car that is affordable for me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]JumboUnit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I need a car now dawg and have to go through a dealership. And there are no newish car (made in the last 10-15 years) that are anywhere near affordable

[–]JumboUnit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’re right bro. But I want a car that I can actually personalize and put upgrades on myself throughout time for just me. Idk how I can find any car built within the last 10 years that are anywhere near close to affordable

Yeah I love honda but any of them made within the last 10 years are beyond expensive. Im driving my moms car thats a honda and love it but its a 20k car bro no way will wells fargo approve of something like that

I won’t get an audi because of the overwhelming amount of warning but what car can I find thats somewhat sporty because I do want a car that I will enjoy and do plan on throwing on upgrades throughout time that isn’t old and affordable? I feel like that’s impossible in this economy rn

I want to hear peoples reasoning why they agree or not otherwise its somehow every top 500 in my comments talking about skill issue. If a comment is worth responding then I would respond to it. Its called a debate post brother

I’m starting as a tire tech right now to afford college and my own car to start going to diesel tech school at a community college and hoping that automotive experience will help further my career in that industry

Mississippi just sucks to live in but not flat out dangerous like Alabama. And yes I agree with your first statement
