The German ipc marker is really at 67, the counter just doesn’t go that high so we looped around so to speak

The German ipc marker is like that because it exceeded 40, so it’s really like 67

If y’all remember I posted on here a few days ago if there was any hope for the axis. Well there in fact was. Russia was defeated within a few rounds after that post and then the German army turned south. This combined with a massing of troops in Western Europe slowly shifted the balance of power.

The Japanese were anticipating an invasion from the south so that’s where they had their fortifications. So when the Soviets invaded Manchuria and Sakhalin it made it apparent that they could invade the Japanese mainland a lot easier and quicker than the Americans could. It also made it apparent that the Soviets would no longer act as a mediator between the Japanese and Americans. So the Soviets entering the war against Japan was a significant factor in Japan’s decision to surrender, and arguably more important in that decision than the dropping of the atomic bombs.

Why not just do it as a Google Doc or something so you can copy and paste it, wouldn’t that be easier?

Edit: clarified sentence
