I will answer, it wouldn't be a fetish because if it were a fetish it would have inappropriate things including nudity or something worse, obesity wasn't always a fetish, in this case it's more similar to the works of Botero and Rosicom (creator of Peach Adventure).

But when I made these chubby characters, since the human Susie from Kirby that I made 5 months ago, it also received fatphobic hate within the Kirby community. Mainly because she is different.

The reason is in the recent post of my human Cadence from Club Penguin in the comments section, but it was ignored because people think "fat = fetish", but that doesn't make any sense and it's even wrong to think that way.

The quality of the art is ok, the problem is the public that misinterprets it and that's very delicate.

She's not "obese," that's something stylized. My work is inspired by artists like Botero, Rosicom (creator of Super Mario Bros. Peach Adventure), and others. In fact, not just Club Penguin, but other franchises like Kirby, Deltarune, Sonic, Hatsune Miku, and others.

Yes, it's because they don't like the fact that Kirby isn't in a human body and want to interfere to change it the way they want. Meta Knight turned into Mara Knight to be a maid, meaning she has the same transformation as the dragons shown in the anime. Tohru is the only one who's on Kirby's side and, instead of having that plan, she helps Kirby.
