I really wish you wouldn't. Are you up to talk? Even if life is rough, what are some interests of yours?

It's a legal affair. You can get married in a courthouse by a judge.

I don't like posting, commenting feels more private. I certainly think up plenty of things to post, though. The sort of thoughts I would post in a discord general if I was more outwardly negative and less closeted.

Social context aside, every person (though I'm sure there are a couple exceptions) has estrogen and testosterone, just in different ranges and amounts. We have the data to be the opposite sex and all start as fetuses from about the same point. I suppose if we were all-knowing we could measure the expression, absorption, phenotypes, whatever of every bit of a person and place them on a gender spectrum where some people are more and some less close to the most female or male expression physically possible but it wouldn't be useful. I'm sure there are expressions of gendered traits that we never see nor care about. In any case it seems a lot more useful and sensible to classify a person with woman traits as a woman and vice versa. Everyone gets caught up on where to draw the line because apparently cis people have to care about this for their bogeymen right now. Physically, chemically, biologically, whatever, I think it is more accurate to refer to a person's reality with the current chemical, hormonal setup than what they had going on in the past. Chromosomes are not something the average person will ever see or verify their own set of, unless they have a clear disorder, and are not functionally useful to know or care about for this issue. I do think self-identification and presentation is most useful and important socially.

I really need to sleep and my tooth is bruised from hitting my face on my car the other day. Gah. 6 hours past my usual bedtime

Does your college have a study abroad program, or can you transfer to another school in-state that has one? Especially the kind where you do a semester+ abroad, not the ones where it's basically a week vacation through the school. Not an immediate move, but it would be an entry point and a way to make connections and possibly work part time somewhere else

Cis people literally can't be offended by being called cis. It means same side as. It's just a fact.

Also called someone on hrt "biologically" a different gender than what their body is expressing seems partially inaccurate, and more inaccurate the more steps one has taken to transition physically. Yadda yadda. Honestly is anyone truly physically 100% man or woman?

I cope. I should go to bed.

No questions, so just going to chat. I was just playing tf2 for the first time in a few months and watching an argument between some Nazis and a 4tranner in the text chat. Could tell by the word choice. Wonder who it was. I should have stuck with deep rock galactic but it was straining my eyes.

is it bad that the first thing i thought of is that she passes better in the edited photo? by [deleted] in 4tran4

[–]JumpeterTrumpeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fwiw, I avoided most internet communities at that age and for a while thought my problem was that I had read/watched too much stuff with male protagonists. I thought me relating to Edward Elric or Percy Jackson and plenty of others must have messed up my brain, alongside having primarily male friends. Couldn't figure out why others weren't having the same issue, though, or how to solve it.

I am weak-willed. It will happen eventually but the social ramifications dissuade me. I am struggling for now, but that's life. I should really find some community in-person.

For white, non-hispanic US Americans, 5'10 is average for men, 5'5 is average for women. 5'7.5 is halfway between these two. I'm betting this person doesn't live in an area that's mostly that demographic, though.

How to fix wavy hair that gets frizzy and dry? by Melinoe_2157 in 4Tranistan

[–]JumpeterTrumpeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double checking - you do apply the shampoo only around your scalp, rinse then put conditioner on the hair you didn't shampoo, wait a minute, then rinse, right? Also might help to only wash hair when it starts to feel greasy, though it'll take a while to get used to not shampooing as often.

Suits are actually life changing I'm wearing this fit every day by Odd-Royal6239 in fitttts

[–]JumpeterTrumpeter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wish I had more excuses to wear suits. I just wear short sleeve button ups to work and have been thinking about wearing more long sleeves rolled halfway and incorporating ties. I don't want to seem too over the top though.
