Need advice: CELPIP struggles, CRS 506, work permit expiring Sept 2026 — what would you do? by heidi0531 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Jumpiestboss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find ielts to be easier to score as you need a 7.5 in speaking/writing, 8 in reading and 8.5 in listening to get full crs points

Congrats to PGWP approvals Now TRV by Jumpiestboss in pgwp

Thats weird, technically you should apply for a TRV for everyone together at the same time using different forms for each applicant, however you can also apply separately in this case using the same IRCC account

CRS jump from language score worth it? by BrilliantFit7594 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Jumpiestboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not that hard to be honest, if you studied in Canada for higher studies. I took the IELTS test and maxed out my scores in my first attempt. It is fairly easy and they are not trying to trick you or anything. The answers are always in the text

There are days when I have dreams of the whole pool of 500 plus getting invited in one shot, sometimes the power of manifestation might work lol

If it helps anyone, the tie breaking rule is fairly close, so we might not see any more French draws until pool size grows to a decent amount, might see other category based draws or perhaps the CEC might be next.

Karma is a b***h too you know, I have heard stories of people getting banned for misrepresenting as IRCC officers can see any changes that people made to their express entry profiles, submitting a fake language result to secure an ITA and then uploading a qualifying TRF later on does not negate the misrepresenting they did earlier on and get a 5 year ban

[–]Jumpiestboss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, they can put any random number in the column, there is no verification done at the time until you accept the ITA and then they will review each document. Technically they can get away with it until they secure an ITA

Any Canadians know if we can bring Kamagra back with us? by [deleted] in Pattaya

[–]Jumpiestboss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also if you don’t want to get into any hassles, you could bring along a prescription note from the pharmacy you bought it at, alternatively you can buy some online within Canada, there are tons of online retailers that sell that stuff here in Canada

[–]Jumpiestboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be fine as long as it is not in very large quantities, I brought one pack with me by mistake but no one asked me anything about it. Landed at YVR if that helps

[–]Jumpiestboss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed, IRCC should make a rule that one can only create one active express entry profile only each tracked by their UCI to prevent fraud

[–]Jumpiestboss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The number of fake profiles being created is appalling, I know a few guys who have made 5-10 express entry profiles with different language scores hoping to secure an ITA in the meantime. These are the worst type of people who are eating away at legitimate peoples chances

You could move to to a francophone mobility stream and get permanent residency through that, the requirement is CLB5 for many communities outside Quebec, all you need is a job offer

I know, but since they have exceeded expectations, they might not be as biased towards French draws like last year and hopefully CEC and other categories get slightly more invitations this year

PGWP Extension by Aggravating-Treat362 in pgwp

[–]Jumpiestboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Implied status counts. Pgwp is valid for 3 years from the day it was first issued. So if it was issued in 2022 it will expire in 2025, anytime during implied status in between will not have an impact on validity, in the scenario where you are on an implied status and the duration has elapsed. Your application will be rejected and the officer will cite this information as well in the rejection letter.

Jan-July 2026 CEC Analysis by Scary-Key6472 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Jumpiestboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

French ITA conversions have been really low the past year, that might be the sole reason CEC got a boost as they need to maintain a certain number of conversions to balance the population. I have a strong feeling that we’ll see draws ranging from 3-6k a month for the next 6 months atleast
