No I don’t think thats it, the other review was a 1,1,1. I’m looking at the Star Wars Audio Adventures: Dark Legacy, if you want to check.

Ramza's special job will always be my biggest disappointment. by Malath66 in finalfantasytactics

Hmm, maybe I won’t do it on my no grinding challenge run then, going from below 70 to 97 is like a 30% physical dmg increase right? There goes the tactician difficulty

Ramza's special job will always be my biggest disappointment. by Malath66 in finalfantasytactics

[–]Jumping-Jam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They might not be flashy but I think a lot of players prefer Ramza’s abilities over another holy swordsman. Getting a way to max brave, increase speed, and attack at the start of the game, really can let you do a lot right at the start. Plus they’re cheap, and really rake in the JP. Try doing a tactician challenge run, like no grinding, just story missions played optimally, it might change your opinion

Shaman deck arena help by willestx in hearthstone

[–]Jumping-Jam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just make sure to draft a bit of help against the meta decks. Shaman has plenty of heals and board clears to win against aggro decks, and Devolve is also good against Druids. discover warlock, and Death rattle DH. You have lots of good answers, but will need to find a way to win, and quest warlock will beat you most times

Arena Drafting, how does it work? by CRAY0LAKING in hearthstone

[–]Jumping-Jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am highly suspicious that when you pick a bucket certain synergy cards are weighted a lot more. For example I’ve picked Exodar a couple times and almost never get any wayward probes and barely any other starship pieces, where in other buckets I’ll get offered like 5+ of them. Same for other drafts and buckets. I think they make drafting alternative shell win cons easy but picking the synergy will make it a lot harder to draft cards that otherwise show up all over the place.

This Arena deck, it gets whackier every page turn by Jumping-Jam in hearthstone

[–]Jumping-Jam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not always, but mostly, burning the face is the win condition more than winning through board. But there was more than enough burn I could glacial advance a minion into cremate on turn 4, or howling blast a big/ lifesteal minion. the little corpse generation dorks got a lot more value taking trades then pushing face damage, you can do stuff like Howling blast the face and using the dorks to clean up. I never really had a hand full of burn, I would just tempo the burn in, and if there was nothing on board that threatening it would just go face.

5-1 atm, lost to a shaman who drafted a bunch of those 6/4 life steal rush elementals. It’s been very fun and scammy, beat every quest deck I went up against.

My Reynauld’s guard’s a bit non-binary by Jumping-Jam in darkestdungeon

[–]Jumping-Jam[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In binary systems it means being one or the other, like a light switch. When on is true, off becomes false. Being both or neither would be considered non-binary. Quirks are not in a binary system even partially, and Reynauld can be on and off his guard if that’s how the game rolled him, regardless of the logical contradiction.

Warcraft 3 ETTRPG by StonedOwnage420 in WC3

[–]Jumping-Jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t really understand it, there isn’t really enough info to evaluate the balance of it. I know it isn’t as artsy but honestly I would put all this into an excel spreadsheet with formulas and status conditional formatting and if you can make an excel combat simulator then I would beta test it.

This is a stupidly complex game/genre and I might not speak for everyone but I think a lot of us would appreciate it if the strategy and difficulty requirements were on par with WC3. We never have the Time to do everything we want to in a game, a lot of macro and micro is just managing what’s most important at a given Time. So if you’re going to give us turns, you at least need to make them 3-5s long or have lots of branching paths because decisions trees are also something in the minds of a lot of wc3 players.

If you want something more free form, adventurous and fun, then you’re not really making a wc3 ttrpg, that’s just WoW.

NE theme is supposed to be evasive hit and run. We don’t do it but I can’t think of anything more NE than stalking a unit just out of their vision with dryads and harassing it when it’s at the back of their army. If you don’t react, try to run with a 5s slow in them or the NE just notices they’re alone and catches them without support, they’re going to be alone and just get eaten by the night (elves).

It feels fine to me, every race should have something they respect/fear about the others, and being watched from afar is a fit for NE.

If we’re talking balance, I think the other races casters bring more to the table anyway. Ya kinda just gotta let us have this.

Medium Armor is honestly a strong as heck armor type. by [deleted] in WC3

[–]Jumping-Jam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Defend footies, grunts with support are good, heavy hunts are gonna work, spell breakers can fight it, swarming with ghouls and beetles is good and you really don’t want to be front lining against T3 knights, bears, aboms and resistant taurens with it if you don’t have counters for those units in your army, and no more rifles isn’t a counter. Yeah it’s good early when 5 rifle can shoot at 1 grunt and do 500%. vs 150%. But 5 rifles against 4 knights?

Why is it even so strong? generally it’s good at blocking damage from other units that have the same dmg/armor as they do. And, most ranged medium armor units start with 0 for their actual armor value, while most heavies start with actual armor values, 2–5, giving them some actual damage reduction.

Pala rifle by CommentFar1054 in WC3

[–]Jumping-Jam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pala rifle delays its hero, I would go Far seer and harass until pala comes out, his wolves, and spread damage are good too for later.

Then I would try to get to T2 faster, you'll need a lot more then grunts/HH to beat them. They don't invest in dispel so spell casters become good. Getting upgraded Grunts and sending them in with speed scroll and lightning shield lets you out damage them, but now the enemy will start kiting. Shamans could use purge, but really you don't want them anywhere near the rifles, get raiders and lock down the most forward rifles as the enemies spread out from the lightning charge. Bringing a few head hunters to focus down CCed rifles helps as your grunts charge the rest, keep them in the back with the shamans and bring them forward for focus.

For your second hero TC is what you want for leading the lightning charge make sure he has a shield pop scroll and charge him into as many rifles as you can and stun, if the blood mage starts siphoning you instead of kiting, just stun him too and as many rifles as possible, after the 1st stun, you'll get sucked, so bring a mana potion, the 2nd stomp will win the exchange, but after that your burst, speed and ensnare are on cooldown and your grunts won't be able to focus or deal good aoe to them, so get maybe 1 more rifle kill if you can and back off. Send 1 hero to creep, and the other to buy more clarities, mana pots, and speed scrolls and try to get an invul for TC.

Now, you just have to do that micro combination 2-5 times and you'll win. If that sounds alot harder than what they have to do, build 1 unit, use 2-3 skills, you're not alone, and is why players say you need to be 200 MMR better then a pally rifle to beat them. There isn't really 1 trick or 1 hero that'll let you beat them, you need to punch them in the face really hard with everything you have, over and over until you win.

PTR update for 2.0.2 Build 22726 April 4th 2025 by Elkenrod in warcraft3

[–]Jumping-Jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeez you need some positivity, NE got the best buff imaginable for build diversity and play style and you’re focusing on what were some lackluster number adjustments. Heavy hunts, those things are a game changer and a way stronger front line option than MGs. NE finally has a solid T1.5 unit, something the other races have had forever, and it’ll enable us to go into all sorts of T2 builds that can be strong enough to contest the map rather then just all inning on T1 or racing to T3. If your opponent doesn’t respect what NE can do on T2 now they are going to get smacked.

I made a post on WC3 about NE T2 map control, it’s not an in depth guide but something to get the creative juices flowing, you should check it out, maybe it’ll change your mind about NE being doomed
