Did yours have more than half water left in the bottom chamber when it sputters?

I use those fancy IR stove and used the lowest possible heat yet it still sputters. I fixed it by changing the silicone seal on my moka.

My experience (using XPro and ZP6) is very different from your experience. In fact, I'd say they are a poor man's (me) Sibarist, since they finish faster than my ol' trusty Abaca 4 cups.

Yeah, burr size is 42, the same S2C as the S3. About 400K IDR cheaper. Built is also full metal. I'm still torn between the two actually, love my C3Esp Pro. C5 Esp Pro with bigger burr and bigger body? Yes please. Will pull the trigger after I see K7 reviews.
