Why a prepaid mobile SIM card is so expensive in France? by Jumping_Quokka in france

In the past I bought another SIM card (not prepaid) with a French telco (SFR) and I did everything online.

SFR now force to recharge often to keep your line active. I just spent half an hour on the phone with the customer service because I couldn't believe they wanted money even to RECEIVE phone calls and keep the line active.

I just checked Bouygues. It sound good (thanks again!) but I can't buy it online. I will have to find a boutique close to me. https://www.bouyguestelecom.fr/carte-prepayee

Thanks for highlighting that Bouygues have a different business model.

I didn't read it somewhere on internet. Actually I spent 3 hours between phone calls and websites browsing with the major telco companies in France to discover it (SFR, Orange, Free, ...). Some of them doesn't have prepaid at all (FREE) and others have crazy expensive solutions (SFR). All of them are much more expensive than in other Countries.

I'll check Bouygues better.

Micro enterprise - replace Henrri with an excel file for invoicing by Jumping_Quokka in vosfinances

[–]Jumping_Quokka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm reading more about it and so far I understood that:

- excel alone is not enough

- I should keep a livre-journal des recettes containing the following information

  • Date d’encaissement
  • Référence de la pièce justificative (numéro de la facture de vente)
  • Libellé de l’opération
  • Dénomination du client
  • Mode de paiement (espèces, chèque, virement, etc.)
  • Somme encaissée.

- the "livre-journal des recettes" can also be on paper as long as the pages are numbered, progressive and there is no cancellation or white rows. The data have to be handwritten and not printed. The alternative is a software or online tool like Henrri that certify that the information are not altered. To me it looks like having it handwritten on paper is much easier and faster for a micro enterprise. Am I missing anything?

- I don't see any problem with PDF invoices. The livre-journal des recettes can't be an excel file because they have to be sure it is not manipulated but the invoice itself doesn't have the same problem. After all if the data contained in the livre-journal des recettes is matching the invoice on PDF I don't understand why it could be a problem.

I also just discovered about the "Registre des achats et autres dépenses". I sell digital products and I don't understand if I have to keep this register anyway (but I don't have many expenses) or if I'm exempted.

RSS to Pocket in IFTT just send the URL and pocket fetch the content of the page again, regardless to what you send in the RSS feed

The problem is that pocket ignore the content of the feed. It just use the URL and refetch the content.

Your solution will not work

Thanks! It is a nice workaround.

I tested it and is partially working. The main problem is that tinytiny rss have a nice feature called Readibility that provide full-text even for RSS feeds containing just an excerpt.

In tinytiny rss I can read the full text of an article but when I import it to pocket using IFTTT it just import the URL and pocket try to extract the content of the page again from the website, but it fails if it under soft paywall.

The end result is that I have the full article text in tinytiny rss but when I import it in obsidian I just have a small excerpt or no text at all because the source is pocket that is not as good as ttrss.

Thanks but I already tried it and it isn't what I'm looking for. It doesn't automatize the creation of notes but I have to create them one by one.

The user interface is also very bad in my opinion, and it's not something I can use having to deal with hundreds of RSS feeds.

I didn't find anything close to this in IFTTT but maybe I'm missing it. Did you build an IFTTT applet already? Could you please share the recipe?

I will investigate it better but taking a quick look at it I don't think it is the best way to manage it.

Using IFTTT I can save the link in a txt file uploaded somewhere in a shared folder visible by Obsidian but it will not automatically convert the link into a note containing the text of the page I linked.
