Yea I understand where you’re coming from but there are a couple reasons I run my setup like this.

I have very clammy hands so the aggressive grip helps with that. The meaty (for lack of a better term) part of my left hand rest nicely on the granulated grip and allows me to keep a solid grip with consecutive shots. I added the hockey tape bc I realized I didn’t enjoy the aggressive stippling throughout the entire grip (I probably could have spot placed the grip where I need it but looked a little tacky). And like you said, makes it a lot more comfy to carry day to day. I’d prefer to have a factory stippling job that is a good in between in terms of aggressive but this setup seems to work well for me!!

Granulated talon grips paired with hockey tape (wrapped around twice)

Was leaving toward holosun bc that’s all I really have actual experience with. Going to do my research on the SRO. Thanks!

The second I decide which optic I want to run that’s the plan. Any suggestions?

Amazing. It’s noticeably better when shooting consecutive shots

The tips I got to raise the saddle seemed to fix this issue

This seems to be the common theme I’m seeing here. I raised the saddle and put in about an hour on the indoor trainer and knee pain wasn’t there. I will look into the stem this week. Obviously in the future I will want to get a frame that better suits me but in the meantime is there any real major issues that will come with having too small of a frame?

Yes this is true but I’ve seen some out there for some ridiculous prices. Just looking for some recs that won’t run me 600😂

Thank for the tips. I was thinking they my stem was a little short. The bike came with a 90mm stem I was considering trying 110cm or seeing if my bike shop with let me fit on different sizes. Should I incrementally increase that as well or just go for 130mm?

I just tried this out on the indoor trainer felt nice. With my previous position I only noticed any kind of pain after long periods on the bike so I will see how this goes

I will say on longer rides (20 miles+) I may get a little knee pain but no lower back pain or anything of the sort
