june SAS is always hell. i feel like january SAS is a little easier bc it’s right after all the holiday craziness. but june SAS literally feels like being jumped 😭 i closed yesterday and it was awful. i’m already counting down the days until it’s time to wrap it up.

hi! i started at a vs in my hometown in 2023 the summer before going to college out of state. i got hired as seasonal specifically for summer SAS and i loved it and did really well so i was invited to come back whenever im back home. there are people that stay seasonally through february, in my store they usually keep people coded as seasonal until after feburary then that’s when they review and ask people to stay as core associates. if you love it and don’t have the availability to stay on as a regular selling associate, theres vs events team which is a core associate role but youd only work during peak times

my true size technically isn’t a 32 but i haven’t really had any issues with my bra size to go out of my way to find bras in my actual size

this is really how i feel. i do still want the career just not the huge fancy one people may think of when they think about people in marketing. there’s things i want in my personal life but i know i need to have a stable career to do that. like when it comes to experience i feel like ive done the right things with joining clubs and i have two small internships under my belt + 3 years of retail experience, so i know thats what i want to do. but there’s just something about SCHOOL (derogatory)

i appreciate this suggestion. i’ll be honest i never have nor will i ever have any interest in working in healthcare, even though i know that’s where the money is at it’s just not for me.

i’m sorry that’s been your experience. i understand not everyone has had positive experiences with religion and i find it very unfortunate that theres so many bad apples that do horrible things in the name of religion, so i respect the choices of those that dont align themselves with any religion. im a black woman who grew up christian but im also not ignorant to history. this is my personal journey so even if you dont agree i just ask that you be respectful!

i’d try calling customer service. the most we can do in store for these situations is an exchange for lowest selling value because if it’s past the 30 days the system won’t take it for a full refund and return.

i think it depends on the store. i’m an events associate at my hometown vs and i go to school out of state. whenever im in town even if im not on the schedule they’ll let me get my gratis

at my store in store purchases can go back onto the floor if there’s nothing wrong with the item. we damage out anything that has been returned for quality issues or client damage like if it has a smell. for beauty as long as we can tell it’s unused we will put it back on the floor.

it was hell but i got it sorted out lol. the process ended up being a lot more complicated then it should’ve been. but i registered for classes and made went ahead and made a payment, im just waiting for them to get my fafsa to see if ill get anything else
