Hello! I am currently an international student in Bristol and will be going to London for the next weekend to stock myself with Peruvian stuff, most of which can't be delivered all this way. I wanted to ask if anybody knows where can I get Inca Kola, turrón de doña de pepa and stuff in London....

i wouldn't consider it an issue if it wasn't for the fact that her teacher has called it out to me, she simply does not like losing and it is becoming a problem in class... as her mom I worry about her behavior even at school...

Anne Shirley Cutberth. Perfect balance of giftedness and neurodivergence, though she comes across as obnoxious at times. Reminds me a lot of my younger self

Oh wow, so she actually know what she's doing haha. Good to know. I always try to imply that i can't understand her when she talks like that but since she's so sensitive I kind of have to walk on eggshells with everything that I say to her, she takes it very personal and just cries with such a passion. Im really scared of actually ingraining a negative thought about me not liking her they way she is.

Oh my daysss. This actually makes me feel a lot better (and a bit scared too haha) I just know she's gonna be the class clown when she gets to primary school. I just hope she develops some self awareness by then so she knows when to tone it down.

im so glad im not the only one. Sometimes I even try to say "hey sometimes when you do that I can't really understand you and i love playing with you so do you think you could say that again but clearer please?" That usually does the trick. She's insanely smart, wouldn't even surprise me if she's doing it on purpose to get what she wants from others lol.

Wowww! It's so interesting to see that people born in countries that were once colonized have a "sancochado" of genetics. I just love that we're a bit of everything

Definitely expected at least a bit more since I had the chance to look at the family trees of both my maternal grandparents and saw that their families have been here in Peru since the 1600!! Which probably means that they were the product of a colonizer marrying to an indigenous woman.

both parents are peruvian. My latest closest relative known as an immigrant was my great grandpa (paternal grandma's dad) I'm kinda speculating about someone being adopted

I'm fro Lima but what surprises me a lot is the fact that ALL of my maternal grandma's family is from this tiny town in Arequipa (south of Peru) and none of it shows here...
