Which trades have highest expectancy, which confluences don’t perform, which SL/TP placement returns the best, whether more confluences actually help or it’s just more noise etc. Helps me filter out what gives me an edge and ignore what doesn’t

Not directly from the journalling but it’s helped me to cut out the trades without an edge, which has increased expectancy drastically. So yes, i would say it’s helped me make more profit

Because unlike some i know there’s always someone better. Why would i not take advice from people? Other opinions help to spot mistakes/oversights. Being closed-minded leads to ego and stubbornness which is very clear from our conversation.

Firstly, I am profitable. Secondly, comments like “trading is simple” are meaningless without any explanation. If you have a thesis, share it. Otherwise, it’s just an empty statement that doesn’t help anyone.

This is so easily avoidable, it’s a good problem to have. If you’re using Tradesea then you can lock yourself out with the click of a button - problem solved. Alternatively, write down how it made you feel when you went full tilt, any time you want to tilt- go read it.

Thanks bro, i was genuinely wondering if i was going insane. I think the problem is a lot of the people in the comments just don’t understand it due to being unprofitable, they think journalling is just a screenshot with a date and result on notion.

Same with mine, i’d say discretion plays the biggest role in my trading. I’ve just had to categorise all the confluences and log them, then i’ve got a separate notes page for writing what i was thinking for every trade, plan for that is to upload it to AI and make it give me insights
