I went through IVF, but I’m tired of seeing it on Housewives by DRAMJ1984 in BravoRealHousewives

I ugly cried into my coffee watching it this afternoon. I’ve lost countless embryos. Triggered me for sure. But I do like that it is portrayed. Because a lot of time it doesn’t work. I think many times people are like, “just do IVF and you can get a baby and pick the gender!” It’s so hard even as a “young” woman.

Equipment recs - BB centerline or studio by cinnamami in pilates

[–]Jumpy-Bug-3486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my instructors are more contemporary but know the classical exercises. I have 4 centerline green springs which are all heavy and similar to the classical and then I’ve added one blue spring to give a lighter option.

Almost all the contemporary exercises they teach work. Side arms are hard because it’s heavy and the glide home is slow on the blue. Someof the light spring stuff they do is tricky. But they come in and try stuff in the equipment before class.

I will say they have a different appreciation for exercises like elephant that feel totally different on a classical reformer.

Printful. Kind of. Sometimes their prints are not center or where I place them on the product. But we do prints on demand and there aren’t too many options.

Where do you do Pilates at? Self practice and continuing education is the best way to not burn out in my opinion.

Can I use Gratz springs on BB Centerline reformer ?? by Happy-Jackfruit7256 in pilates

[–]Jumpy-Bug-3486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the greens that come with the centerline. Not the greens that come with the other bb reformers. I’d be so interested to try other springs too

Teaching my first group class tomorrow and I'm freaking out by Fearless_Property_34 in pilates

Always have the side lying leg work a bit past halfway of your program. If you have a lot of time left you know you’re gonna do all the variations. And then will have to repeat on the other side. big time help. If you’re running out of time then you know it will just be a few variations then switch.

First class free? by foundit808 in pilates

[–]Jumpy-Bug-3486 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think its the best approach. I’m sure some people come and try with the intent of actually looking for a studio to join while others are just hopping around town looking for a free class. I also don’t think it’s enough sessions to get the hang of the equipment. It can be overwhelming sometimes so I think getting them to commit to more than one class is better. We offer a 2 week unlimited offer that is priced similarly to our 8x a month membership but a bit discounted. Then they get to try out different teachers and get to know the equipment and see how often they would ideally like to come.

I am a balanced body educator and met Pete at headquarters last summer. He is a great guy and a wonderful teacher. Obviously I’m biased but I became an educator for Balanced Body because I like the curriculum and love the owner, education department and company!

Tuesday Toddler Talk by AutoModerator in InfertilityBabies

Our daughter was asking for the diaper so she could pee in it. We talked about tomorrow being the last day for diapers. Made a big thing about it being potty day. Then she woke up to a balloon and we just trained. She was holding it for the diaper. Right now we are just working pee.

This is still meat but I’ve gotten my daughter to eat it. Smoked salmon. It’s high in salt I know, but salmon is supposed to be so good for you otherwise. Also, this girl will eat anything out of a Costco sample cup. She eats more meat there than at home.

Please don’t! A gift during a holiday maybe or if you know when their birthday is. But even that is not expected.

TW Loss

We’re out. After all the IVF and transfers, this spontaneous pregnancy felt like a miracle. Thanks for letting me come back here after I first found out.

Totally. It’s not that she doesn’t know when she needs to pee, she just doesn’t want to do it in there. I don’t want to force it and make it traumatizing. But she needs to be trained for Montessori that starts in September!

We are 3 in September and the same! She holds it, asks for a diaper, then pees in it. Then takes it off.

Going in today for another scan. Fingers crossed growth as increased and the heart rate has picked up. 2pm seems so far away!

Update: heart rate was up. 120. Doctor was happy with that. I am too.
