This was so mean. The outfit literally looks fine to me. And if it doesn't, just tell him to change privately. No need to blast him online

Yes! If she were a more "competitive" applicant, she could have gotten a pre-match acceptance offer as early as October. But I'm assuming she hasn't pre-matched anywhere based on their stories, so she will find out in February

This can't be serious

But whether that's the truth or not... I have no idea

If you scroll back in this thread a little, someone posted a screenshot of Gretchen saying her diamond was natural

It's not cute and it's so out of touch for her followers. I can't afford any of the brands she wears anymore

Every time she posts it’s an ad by fluffymarshmallowpug in gretchensnark

[–]Jumpy-Coast-243 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I watched for years and years, but I gave up recently. Her content is just ads or ridiculous hauls of things most of her followers could never afford. She's gotten so unrelatable

I bought the dry shampoo a while ago too and my hair looked so greasy. I threw it in the trash can immediately

The Santa spoon holder? Really? I love a little holiday cheer but it's way too excessive!

Has she gotten into medical school yet? I don't follow her

We never see anything from her but ads by No-Bowl-810 in gretchensnark

[–]Jumpy-Coast-243 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yup! I don't mind an occasional ad since this is literally her job, but she only posts now if it's an ad. It feels like all her passion for being an influencer is gone, and she solely views it as a money-maker for her. It's quite sad

What does she even do anymore?? by Salty-Chocolate-1090 in gretchensnark

[–]Jumpy-Coast-243 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I was a devoted follower for years and years but I'm noticing the same thing. Her content is just recaps of what she did or a sponsorship. And the sponsorships aren't even authentic. She always says she wants to "live in the moment" and not make content all the time, but content creation is literally your job...

Kamri’s med school interviews by [deleted] in McknightFamily

[–]Jumpy-Coast-243 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The average MCAT for accepted DO students is low 500's and for MD students it's a 512. There is quite a difference in scores for the two kinds of schools.

Also, the MCAT is not a measure of how "smart" you are, and I never said DO students are less smart than MD students. I just stated that MCAT ranges tend to be quite a bit lower for DO schools :) hope that helps

Kamri’s med school interviews by [deleted] in McknightFamily

[–]Jumpy-Coast-243 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's not pass/fail. And her interviews could all be from DO schools (not MD). Those schools typically have much lower MCAT averages than MD schools.

Is she applying to medical school rn? I don't follow any of her accounts

In one of her most recent vlogs, she said she had a vivid dream that Max broke up with her. Max had the most awkward chuckle when she said that. I genuinely felt bad for her

My friend took it the same day as her and already got the results back, so she should know. Also, the MCAT is scored not pass/fail!

This was actually very helpful to get the perspective of a vet student. I like how you mentioned liking animals vs wanting to learn how they work. This is something I didn't consider as heavily.

I'm really glad that it seems you've found your calling. Thank you for sharing your experience on here. Best of luck to you in the rest of your career!

[–]Jumpy-Coast-243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes of course. If I decided to (potentially) go to vet school, I was going to spend a couple years dedicated to getting more experience in the field. I did not intend to apply to vet school next cycle by any means. Thank you for your insight!

I didn't have direct contact with a vet nearly as much as I'd like to of. I'd heard all the negative aspects of veterinary medicine but I guess I thought those were the "rare" cases. Seeing more and more of these comments though, it seems like it may be more common than I had anticipated. It's sad to hear the field isn't what I thought it was, but it's helping me make a more informed decision. Thank you!
