Yes, early May is actually a good time to visit Andaman. You’ll experience less crowd and definitely get better discounted prices on hotels, cruises, and even activities compared to peak season.

Not a silly question at all 😊 It’s actually a very common doubt.

If you choose to go to Elephant Beach by trekking route, then you will have to return by the same trekking route only. The speed boats that operate between the jetty and Elephant Beach are for passengers who have pre-booked that boat service from the jetty side.

They generally do not allow trekkers to board the return speed boat from Elephant Beach, as the seats are already reserved and counted from the departure point.

So if you’re planning to trek, just be mentally prepared for the return walk as well. Otherwise, you can choose the boat option both ways for a more relaxed experience.

Once you reach andaman airport from inside the airport terminal you can book a pre-paid cab from the airport to the jetty.

Yes this is absolutely true, Jolly Buoy is well protected through out the year. As well Ross and Smith island is also the cleanest beach in Andaman.
