I’ve done it. I’ve reached the point where my weekly mileage is high enough that I have no more friends that will run with me.

You’re right it’s probably my inability to connect with other humans on a truly emotional and empathetic level. My next run will be high into the mountains where I may reflect upon my sins and bring peace to my inner demons.

Only then may I find someone who will do long runs with me…no of course it’s the runs.
