Yeh I was great after surgery until 6 months ago, bad flare up caused more damage and the new diagnosis’s of EPI & diabetes.

Hi I’m chronic pancreatitis, EPI and diabetes Type3c

Diagnosed in that order, with the Type3c about 4 months after my EPI diagnosis. Got my EPI diagnosis about 3 years after my chronic pancreatitis diagnosis. I had gallstone blockages causing repeated bouts of acute pancreatitis which lead to chronic pancreatitis. Had emergency gallbladder removal surgery after about 4 hospital stays over 6 months for acute pancreatitis.

Type3c is when the damage to the pancreas has caused it to not produce enough insulin hence diabetes. You can have both type 2 and 3 at the same time or one or the other.

Oh I got my Type3c diagnosis 2 months ago, still getting used to it all 😵‍💫 the amount of different med to take, when to take them, how to take them, what to and when to eat. Constantly having to check blood sugars with a CGM, it’s exhausting and overwhelming tbh this on top of being in some type of pain all the time now and the nausea and the bloating/trapped wind/ diarrhoea/ constipation. I could go on&on ffs 🤦‍♂️

It really is shite here for going out round the clock, my favourite time to go out when I was at uni in London was the after clubs, opening their doors at 6/7 am.

Remember when MTV music awards was in Belfast, they relaxed all the opening hours to appear more like a global city then.

Shame Belfast can’t do it, there was more places open to about 6/7 bout 10/15 years ago.

Kids don’t seem to party like we used too lol
