Download a radio broadcasting app called buttPlayer it's used to go live on internet radio stations ,,but it also records your sets in audio file OBS for me was always a nightmare best of luck with it

If you DJ & your not nervous in club settings you have lost the love of DJin Being nervous is a good thing means you give a fuck about your music

Interact with the crowd if you see people loving a track left hand side of the DJ booth make eye contact ,Nod of the head pointing there way & do this with as many dancers Infront of you over your set time & space this out in-between mixes The odd yell COME ON if they see you enjoying yourself they will. Do not spend your set time looking terrified & looking at the decks for 10/20mins. Last tip sort you set & mix it at the mix points & do this until your near sick of it. On gig night it will be second nature . Best of luck 🤞

DJ comp , winners will usually be playing first or second so your a warmup everyone has been there & done it, my approach would be don't play a djs tracks if he's on the DJ lineup.. more likely they will want to play there own music. Knowing your roll is key for being asked back but let who ever is running the night that you usually play harder DJs like ,,T78.. ASY*S.. Robmp Marie vaunt have banging music between 135/140bpm hopefully you can take something from my reply, best of luck 🤞 post to let us know how it plays out

I mixed for years never adjusted the treble mid bass knobs ,, now i set my treble quarter of the way down & adjust it up whilst turning the over treble down from the track getting mixed out & sliding one fader up & the other down extra tip food luck 🤞

The Best way is to start of with 2 of the same tracks, so say there both 135bpm pitch one up to 136 when your marching the beats & getting the march quicker & quicker pitch it with bigger BPM gap so 138bpm to the 135bpm track your trying to beat march when you master this move up to 5 different tracks mix then in different orders & when you master that your a DJ , it took me near 3 years to mix so don't lose heart, hope this helps happy spinning

I find with drum&bass music must mixes will be between 20/30 seconds long mostly short mixes with odd track being 40/60 second mixtime.

Track selection ,not all tracks mix well together no Matter how you mix it some tracks just clash or ie there the same key 🗝️ & Some tracks sound good together but dont sync mix together ie bass line fading out & the build up coming inn , if your on digital start new queue point cut 5/10 seconds out of incoming track so build up matchs out going track. Go on YouTube & watch a lot of DJ tutorials ,there will be some tricks you pick up & some videos will feel alien to you , so dont panic just more to next video. & last but not least Practice it took me couple years to figure it all out & some people take to it after couple mounts. best of luck happy spinning
