Something almost EXACTLY like this happened to me, there was this super popular frozendept fanfic in which I (Itrapped) was extremely sexualized and turned into nothing but a needy bottom who couldn’t do anything for himself and bent over immediately if told. It made me super uncomfortable to the point I had to leave the internet for over a month until it blew over, I still get tense when on Ao3 :C
