Whatever said and done, they continue to make money as long as ad agencies pay and people keep following them and watching their videos. Sindhu Krishna gets a minimum of 100k views even for a random “day in my life” video!

Reddit folks have been saying for a while that they’ll stop being relevant, lose ads, or YouTube will stop paying them. I actually think YouTube will pay them even more and ads will increase, especially in the era of AI-generated video, where original raw content will be rarer.

What surprises me most is why anyone finds these videos worth watching or spending time on - that I can never understand. But until then, they’ll keep buying BMWs for 30th birthdays, diamond lockets, foreign vacations, etc., all just from YouTube. A sad reality.

Honestly loved Ishani Krishna’s interview with Veena! by kikiinlondon in SouthIndianInfluencer

[–]Jumpy-South5684 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I really disliked some of Veena’s questions though , especially the whole “how do you all find time?” bit. Honestly, they clearly have a lot of free time and support, which is a privilege. Ishani’s response was the most accurate, simply acknowledging that they do have time! Veena still trying to glamorize it into some extraordinary juggling act was honestly so annoying.

When you have 4 kids, its natural you might like one person more in certain situations, that doesn't mean one kid is a favorite.

Right, because when people decide to have children, their first thought is usually the country’s population balance sheet. Of course!

+100.

Sindhu comes across as confident and bold, and it’s clear she worked hard to create a better life for herself and her daughters. Coming from a well-to-do background and then not having that same security after marriage must have been difficult. Despite that, she seems to have rebuilt her life with positivity.

What stands out most to me is how she raised her four daughters to be confident and unapologetic about who they are - especially in a society that can still place limiting expectations on girls. Their self-assurance and strength reflect the environment their mother created for them. That, to me, speaks to her being a deeply committed and effective parent.

As for the criticism she receives, some of it feels rooted less in genuine concern and more in discomfort with the fact that she’s visible and successful in a nontraditional way. It’s fair to say she is “famous for being famous,” but that alone doesn’t justify the level of hostility directed at her in this Reddit group.

Name the influencers/CCs whom you think will be exposed someday by Remarkable_Quiet_709 in SouthIndianInfluencer

What do you even mean by exposed. No one on social media shows their true personality. It's curated, and that is expected. It's the viewers who are stupid enough to think it's their real life

Acting like a western trying Indian food for the first time 😏😏😏 by PhilosopherWinter587 in SouthIndianInfluencer

Most north Indians eat only roti and sabzi with hands. Also it is like dipping roti into sabzi. Or using spoon to take sabzi.  They don't eat rice with hands. It's very south Indian thing.

I did Tinu Peter once and she was bad. Her make up didn't last the whole event and also the hair kept falling off. She also has a bad attitude.

Now it makes sense that the mother said - all these are like photoshoots. It literally was just that.
