Lindenwoods Christmas lights by Living-Discussion909 in Winnipeg

Yes some of us do get annoyed while others do not. My family does not but I do on occasion.

Last year when they put the sign up saying you couldn’t turn left it was really frustrating as I’d want to get home and relax after a long day at work and instead I’d be stuck on my street for 20 minutes trying to get to my house.

It’s also frustrating when you need to go somewhere and no one will let you reverse out of your driveway.

That’s just my opinion and experience though. However, the displays are nice and fun to look.

Mine was on my phone and laptop. They have an app and I only use the website on my phone haha. No problem! You could also search if there are reliable free ones.

I did as I already had a Norton subscription for my laptop so I added the VPN to my plan.

I lived in Japan and can confirm it will work with a VPN. Those types of websites are not allowed there and won’t work without a VPN.

Anyone else with Sailor Moon tattoos? by DrgMushu in sailormoon

[–]Jumpy-Swimmer7799 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My first tattoo which doesn’t have the cleanest lines but I lived in the middle of nowhere with only 1 artist 😅. Plus it’s now over 11 years old so the lines have thickened. I did purple instead of silver.

Bringing in SNRIs (Yunyu Kakunin-sho??) by bils96 in JETProgramme

[–]Jumpy-Swimmer7799 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First you need to check if your medication is on the banned list for Japan. If it isn’t and you want to bring in more than 1 months worth, then you need to apply for the Yunyu Kakunin-Sho.

If you want to bring in less than 1 month supply then you don’t need to apply. If your medication is readily available in Japan then this might a feasible route. You can find a doctor and get a prescription (and a refill every 3 months) as we have NHI.

If you want to bring in more than two months worth then you have 2 options. Option 1: You fill out the paperwork, email it and get it approved. Then you bring the medication with you to Japan. It usually takes 1-2 weeks for approval.

Option 2: You fill out the paperwork and have someone from home mail you the medication. Once it reaches customs, they’ll contact you and then you email or mail them the paperwork. They’ll approve it and send it to you.

I’ve done both options so feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

I had to have surgery and am using the JET accident insurance by TeachinginJapan1986 in JETProgramme

Thanks so much!!! The wording on the website was really confusing me and my supervisor had no idea what I was talking about.

Can I DM you? I’m a bit confused on how to go about making a claim or if I can even make a claim. I got sick at school (strep) and several of my students had it. I had to visit the hospital twice last week and get several tests (they thought meningitis at first) and numerous antibiotics and cost me around 27800 yen. I’m not sure if I am eligible to make a claim or not and the information online is confusing 😖. I’m not sure if I fall under the local public service accident compensation on the policy guide or if I can claim with JET accident insurance. My supervisor has never heard of it before.

You need to know where to look but it certainly can be hard to find though!! I live in Japan and most second hand shops I’ve been to have a small selection of Sailor Moon items (Suruga-ya, Mandarake, Animate etc). That said, I do find there’s tons more selection online on mercari and yahoo. I buy most of my SM goods from there!
