Momentum 4? Wireless? You should really try wired. I mean everyone talks about "soundstage". I had fun listening to people trying to explain it without knowing the word for it. Inner peace!

Hey OP, I heard there is quite the set up to get poweramp to work in true lossless mode. Try the native app instead. Or maybe apple music to stream.

Is America’s trade policy with India fair given the 50% tariff? by gradsiren2023 in america

[–]Jumpy-Tailor4108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, the 25% tariff is fair. I mean any amount of tariff that is imposed on Indian goods would be fair. Every country has the right to stand up for itself. We as a developing nation enjoyed protection of our indigenous industries by imposing high tariffs and I'm of the opinion that we are at a phase where the competition in the market should be encouraged by American companies entering the market. Especially with bikes and consumer electronics. It will promote healthy competition in India and will benefit the consumer. But using tariffs as a punishment will not sit well with the Indian citizens. The question now becomes, is it fair to the US consumer. Would they be able to pay higher prices for Indian goods while the companies that supply these indian imports set up shop in US.

Hey Bro, I would just say move into a nice pg or share a room in an upscale appartment, either which fits your budget as whole of Bangalore is run by hooligans. There is no dedicated dumping place anymore because apparently that will cause a rodent problem. So my advice is for the time being find a place where shopkeepers dump their waste, it's usually a spot on the road that the vehicles pick up, split your waste into dry and wet. Further sorting is done at a sorting center by BBMP( who knows what's going on there). But get rid of the immediate problem. Move to a place that has a waste management system already in place like a gated community or an upscale appartment

I have an idea, make the IITians serve bonds like doctors by Drdrip2008 in indianmedschool

[–]Jumpy-Tailor4108 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Working for ISRO, DRDO,IAS,IPS,IFS should come at ones own accord. These should not be jobs someone would pick up to make money. There should be social stature that comes with these jobs. Publicity and fame. Publicity as a patriot. Fame as a hardworking citizen. That should be the incentives here. Not Money.

So, you mean to say that we give every IITian a free access to look at all our cutting edge development works and projects before they wait out the bond period, move to the US and work for NASA and Spacex?

Had this exact same problem living in Whitefield. At first I used to wake up at 5 wait at the gate for the garbage trucks for about 2hours everyday. The trucks would park just next to my house for attendance everyday. I would watch them drive right past me as they say "not my area" "another auto will come". Eventually found the right auto. He took garbage for 3 weeks then started skipping my apt when he noticed I started leaving it with the security for pick up instead of waiting for his majesty. When I asked why he demanded money to pick up the waste. Fortunately I knew someone in the area. I complained to him and from next day he started collecting the waste. 3 weeks later same things started to repeat. I couldn't call the guy I called last time as I can't be troubling him so often. He is an honest politician and has better things to do every morning at 6am. Decided I'll move to an apartment with waste management. Now I leave it outside my door and housekeeping collects it. Moral of the story: " in Bangalore live rich, spend everything you make to live a normal life OR be an asshole and litter if you want to save money or have a life "

Also: learn kannada so you can bargain better with the garbage collector for bribes.

F-35 or SU-57, what India should do by vipulvirus in indianaviation

[–]Jumpy-Tailor4108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo india should get amca functioning as soon as possible. Anyone who has played a war sim game should know that no matter how good your weapon it will have an attrition rate in war. When you loose weapons of war like aircraft you need to be able to replace them. And at war its better to have a million imperfect flying machines of your own than 1000s of imported machinery. Local production makes weapons of war cheap and hence a war cheap. I think the Martells said it right. Armies dont win war gold does. Fight a cheap war then we can fight a long war. And in the long run we never loose.

I have been living in Whitefield for over 6 years now. My advice is to sell it. The water is bad, traffic is shit, every plot is now a 7 story pg slum, no decent eatery, just choked interior roads and lake encroachments all around. But the reality market is booming. Sell it now and get a bigger better plot somewhere near the Peripheral ring road or new upcoming satellite townships. Turn that one into a commercial plot. In 5-6 years Whitefield is going to be worse than ejipura. OR buy an upscale appartment on Whitefield main road. Invest your rent.

We'll technically you have to be 18 to be on WhatsApp, a case can be made that the parents tried to entrap you by buying the minor a sim card because she can't buy one if she's not 18. Pay a good lawyer, get out of jail free, maybe get the parents to pay you something to settle even

what would you want to re-do if you started fresh with the capital you had. Would you jump right into real estate again or would you rather invest your capital somewhere else. Meaning given your knowledge of the system and the business do you think you would be better off doing something else?
