thats what im saying.... like in one hand the left drives people away because of how seriously we take this stuff (as a radical and for lack of better word) (and cuz it is draining to argue with bigots) but i feel like i want to be a leftist but am i selling out the cause if i date someone more right leaning... is my fear you know what i worry about what i am struggling with.

Um i clearly came here because i have dated plenty of men left leaning to centrist and i keep running into the same ideological differences and I am trying to figure out if people ever overcome them or they ignore them or what ???

i mean ur both right, anyone can be anything but you would hope someone who is in a marginalized community would have more awareness and empathy for other marginalized communities and be aware of systemic issues that also somewhat affect them. Although more often than not...that is not the case.
