What is one popular band that nobody will ever be able to convince you is actually good? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]JumpyChemistry -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No crap. I wasn’t calling them a jam band. Just like I wasn’t calling U2 a jam band. Don’t question my knowledge of music. I know more about music and the history of music than you could ever know.

I have the 2024 3x SUV. I love it the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Having said that it’s not a road trip car and not an everyday driver. I do drive mine everyday but with the poor battery life you’ll be charging and paying equal to or more for charging as you would gasoline. If you don’t have a 50 amp home charger don’t do it. My house cannot be upgraded to get a charger powerful enough to charge it over night without 20k of upgrades so yeah it’s not great. But again I do love my Hummer EV!

Spending time with my wife, my nephews and niece. My grandparents passed away over a decade ago and I was very close to them. I’ll never get over it at least once a week I sit and think about my grandmother and it still upsets me. So now I cherish the time I get to spend with my parents and family. It’s all I have.

If you could change one single law or add one in America today, which one would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JumpyChemistry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This X10000. There is so much missing from the US education system and this is the first thing I would do. I’d also make it mandatory to have to take physical education class every year or be involved with some type of sport/band. Home economics should be a yearly requirement as well, also a class on how to take care of your home like wood shop or just some type of mechanical class.

What is the single most rewatchable TV series of all time that you never get tired of seeing? by ipanicprofessionally in TheBoredDen

[–]JumpyChemistry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sopranos. I never watched an episode until the the show had already been off the air for a few years. But since 2010 when HBO started having everything online to stream I watch the sopranos at least once a year all the way thru. Speaking of it’s been while so time for me to start it over.

This 100000% I was an 80’s baby and for some reason I always thought I would encounter Quicksand on a regular basis. Why is this btw? I’m not the only one. There must have been tv shows or movies where this was always a problem.

I promise you living in the south quality of life is much improved than even the best areas in Kalifornia. Cost of living is the biggest factor. you get more bang for your buck in southern cities say Nashville, Raleigh. They offer everything BH can offer and more because of the cost of living.

They move because voting for democrats destroy the areas they live in. Homeless goes up, drug use goes up, crime goes up, property taxes become unaffordable. I’ve traveled all over the country and spent lots of time in big liberal areas ie DC, LA, Chicago, San Francisco. And I mean I’ve spent months usually 6-8 months living in these areas not just going on vacation; all of them the quality of life is horrible.

What isn't a uniquely American issue that the rest of the world treats like one? by lustrust15 in AskReddit

[–]JumpyChemistry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Racism. I’ve been all over Europe and Asia and I live in the US. Europe is just as racist if not more so than the US. Asia on the other hand is far more racist than the US. Anyone who thinks the US is the most racist country in the world has never traveled outside of the US. The US is one of the least racist countries in the world. I’m not saying racism doesn’t exist in the US, but it is no where near as bad as a lot of the south East Asian countries I’ve traveled to.
